I completely understand your bad logic. Bad at worst, hypocritical at best. And after a sample size, it didn’t work. Our only chance to win games was Shapen’s downfield passing, good OL or not.
Our fanbase is always reduced to muh mobile QB because we don’t understand modern football.
Not to mention Lenny’s offense only works with a downfield threat.
So we played 3 games against playoff teams this year.
Shapen played 1.5 of those games and scored 9 points.
KT played 1.5 of those games and scored 40 points.
But hey you wanna compare Shapen vs. Arkansas to KT vs. Wake to make your "point". We were losing games. We finished the year 1-8. 6 of those losses with Shapen starting. The one win - against a 2-10 team that Shapen got hurt against, KT helped steady us while Shapen got his wits about him, and Shapen barely helped us then come back.
So we were losing - people want change - people acknowledge the OL is bad and got our passing QB hurt in 3 different games. The mobile QB looked able to compensate the OL a bit. No ******* **** people wanted that change. You're not "smart" for not wanting the change. You don't get to say "we only scored 48 points in two games with KT this wasn't a good idea" when the last two games that Shapen started we scored... 48 points against two comparable teams... and actually KT scored 28 of the 48 in those two games too. Cherry on top is Shapen threw only one TD pass in those two games.... to the opponent.
TL;DR - You tried to call people out for not thinking more than one step ahead. But when I think more than you stopping at two steps ahead, the data proves them right and you wrong. Gg no re
