And they're still looking for a head coach ?Umm the difference is they also fired their head coach!

First time head coach assembling his first staff. At a a school that got left behind to die on the vine by conference mates.Umm the difference is they also fired their head coach!
No they hired their HC! WR coach and asst from Bama tp his first HC job and he hired his DC in 2 weeks. And they're still looking for a head coach ?
If your point is that you don't like GS, we get it.No they hired their HC! WR coach and asst from Bama tp his first HC job and he hired his DC in 2 weeks.
Greg ??? Still waiting
Your example further proves my point!
thank you
I don’t like Greg but that has little to do with his inability to hire a competent defensive staff 2 years in a row. That is just factual. If your point is that you don't like GS, we get it.
You're like a juke box that keeps playing the same song over and over and over again.
And it's not one that most people wanna hear.
That song is one of those that bring back such great memories from good times for me in the Sixties and Seventies.
One of those "get up on your feet" tunes for sure.
The live version of "Wade in the Water" was another one. Takes me right back to those times. That song is one of those that bring back such great memories from good times for me in the Sixties and Seventies.
One of those "get up on your feet" tunes for sure.
I don’t think USC has a DC yet. Kwiatkowski still out there and have even seen talk of Gary Patterson too.
Sorry but I refuse to believe your theory that the thought of working for him has built such a negative reputation that he could not identify a single standing low major DC or high major position coach who would agree to accept a tremendous pay raise to come work for him. I know you hate Schiano and I don’t know what’s going on here, but you realize how unlikely this would be, right? I mean, maybe you or Shelby or whoever dislike Greg enough where if it was you, then you’d turn down a huge chuck of money and career opportunity for your family to avoid working for him but the chance that every single active low major DC and high major position coach out there took this view? It rounds to zero, man. Like I said - don’t know what it is but it’s not that. Someone would for sure take the bag. This isn’t making sense.
He’s doing what you suggest. Problem is he’s working at the end of the list. Probably adding names at this point.Oh I don’t doubt that there are plenty of desirable candidates who don’t want to work for him regardless of the pay. I’m not suggesting otherwise. My point is for enough money, he could find someone (not everyone but someone) whose been a DC at a low level or a position coach at a high major.
If it’s true that the guys he wanted were not interested, ok fine, but it still doesn’t make sense that he wouldn’t go to the next up on the list until someone accepted the bag early on and announce while the portal was open.
Unless he was holding out for someone he thought he would get who is getting cold feet, AGAIN, which would be incredibly stupid after getting burned for that the first time.
No we don’t. But someone has to do it. This is all just theater until Keli can make the change.do we really want him as DC though. the defense was worse when he took over last year and against easier competition which was mostly the bottom half of the BIG. I don't even need to go back further than the Kstate bowl game disaster.
you are right though, waiting game till his buyout is manageable. If he were honorable, he'd leave
