that he missed half the year with a foot injury and still played on it. When he is healthy, he is faster than 4.6 and will be a seek and destroy safety.
know **** about........How many times do I have to say it, "he's a solid pickup" and I'm glad we've got a commit from him......I'm simply saying that he does not run a 4.3 forty....PERIOD...........
no way he runs a 4.3. then bam, something in writing from a camp. and the whole thing was you said he was a "decent" pick up, but in reality he's a pretty damn good pick up. his offers list is real good.
The time posted at the Nike combine in Mobile was almost a year ago. I would assume that was before the injury, telling me that when he gets back to 100% he will be closer to the sub 4.4 speed rather than the 4.5 speed. Honestly though, 4.4 and 4.5 is not much difference.
camp where the timing is probably pretty damn accurate. Having said that, is 4.5 or 4.6 REALLY that much slower than 4.4? Seriously, one or two tenths of a second slower than what you believe makes a player only "decent"?
And the combine article lust him as 5'11.5" 200lbs. Not that it has anything to do with his ability or speed but it's a far cry from 6'3" 230. Doesn't mean he isn't a stud just means he isn't a freak.
I'm going with most likely 4.5 to 4.6 as stated by hot... He sounds like a decent pickup though. Decent meaning he earns a scholarship and could be great player or could be just decent but let's wait until he plays a down.
I seriously believe that it is damn rare and NEAR impossible for a player to come out of HS to run a sub 4.4 (that is electronically timed). But **** what the 17 do I know.
