Your traditions can easily wind up being a choreographed dance number in the dugout and a "Throw It In The Dirt" chant.

The rendition of Glee in the damn dugout is awful.

Also, I know I have asked this before, what the hell do they tape "Snatch" to their hats for?

I think it's an awesome "tradition." What's gay about it? Gets the team loose. Gets the crowd going. If we did it, you would all think it was the most awesome thing everrrrrrrr!!!!!

Correct. It's about as cool as the Dog Pound Rock.

when the DPR, and various renditions of it,begins to be done, over and over and over and over again, by the team on the sidelines for about 3 straight hours, then we'll talk.</p>

you really do think that dance that yall copied is cool? You need help.

Nope, and I don't think the DPR is cool. That was my point. If you're one of those that thinks one is cool, you would think the other was cool if your team did it.

I had some things to take care of around the house last night and this is what I noticed as I was walking around every time UM would start the chant. My stepson was in the living room where I had the game on, loud enough to where I could hear it through out the house. UM would start the chant(s) and I actually called out to my stepson a couple of times to ask if he had changed the channel. I swear to you, I honestly thought he had changed the channel to the SEC Softball Tournament. That is what it sounds like, a bunch of butched out women chanting during a softball game....What's next, in the field is the entire team going to start chanting "hey batter, batter, batter, batter....SWING"!?

I just think one is cool because it's original and it's been done for a while. The other is incredibly ghey (not that there's anything wrong with that) because it is 100% copied and it looks retarded.

One is original, one not so much. One took creativity, the other, not so much. Honestly, if State started doing that crap I'd change the channel. Women's softball, Little LeagueWorld Series are the places that chants should reside. Not College ball. I have not issue with the "snatch" thing though, kinda funny. But I'm a little bit of a baseball purest I guess.

They do it when they are losing late in the game and are trying to rally. This I get, but dugout dancing is softaball at it's finest.
