I still hate them. And they will visit me in hell one day. That being said, if I am to judge this as a pure prank. It’s funny.
There just cannot be enough examples of why everyone should hate all things Ole Miss.
The prank was stupid. You go to all that trouble to get the number and that’s what you come up with? And then you giggle like little kids? They might as well have asked him if his refrigerator was running.
“the man who some believe is an alleged suspected white supremacist” might be the most non-committal accusation of racism possible.
If there was a time for them to be called out for sticking with being called the rebels, and the origin of "ole miss" this is as good of a time as any

What makes this textbook Ole Miss is just the attitude of: I won’t get in trouble for this, daddy will take care of it for me.

I came here to read about the prank and am overjoyed to find out it was Ole Miss bitchassbitches doing it. Hopefully it gets a lot of bad press.
It seems like something that would take a few hours at the most to zero in on - "someone get me a list of students at the University of Mississippi with a close connection to an NFL executive"....
Or better yet- "anyone know any NFL executives who have a little **** enrolled at The 'Sip?" Just having the name Jax is almost a dead give away.

This society is doomed. 1, why are people offended. 2, who cares. 3, why are the people who did the ‘offending’ compelled to care. Grow up, start a YouTube prank channel.
Prank calling at the beginning of round one when the whole world expects him to be picked early would’ve been funny. Prank calling in round 3 when he’s already been punched in the mouth, that’s Ole Miss.
"Grow up" and "Start a youtube prank channel" don't seem congruous.
I agree with you that society seems to be doomed, but I'm not sure we agree on who would be Exhibit A in this scenario.
