I listen to the Supertalk Mississippi radio network on 100.9 most of the day. Several times a day, I hear a one minute Ole Miss athletic update they title "Ole Miss in a Minute". Basically, they give a quick run down of current Ole Miss athletic events.

The only MSU information I hear on a regular daily basis is the advertisement to sell football season tickets. I hate to copy Ole Miss but it sure would be nice to have some MSU athletic updates on the radio daily. The exposure would be nice.

Why doesn't State do something like that?

Byrne dropped them and went with another company some years ago. For good reasons, the company is owned by a guy named Davenport who is a huge ole miss homer.</p>

Just because he's a homer doesn't mean we still can't get our message out. As long as we produce the commercial, get the same air time as others and pay the same rate as others, what's the problem? I hate to support a Rebel business but if it's to promote Bulldog events, then why not.

And as I type this, the "Ole Miss Minute" just came on for the third time in the past two hours!!!!!
