where very good talents but who the "home school" figured wouldn't make their grades. got a number of them end. freeze IMO will recruit lights out for us. a lot can be said negatively about O but the simple fact is he left us with more talent than we had had in 40 yrs. time will tell on freeze but i like what i see so far.

I would also like to make the point that Ole Miss goes out of the state a lot.<font color="#0000cc"> Mullen very rarely recruits anywhere outside of Mississippi, Alabama, and Tennessee.</font> If Keonning (former Texas A&M QB) decided to recruit some sought after guys from Texas I'm sure we'd snag some, but we'd have to dedicate time we use evaluating and recruiting guys close by to travel, meet with them, bond with their high school coaches that we have zero connection with, etc. We could get 4 stars from some random state too, but it doesn't seem worth it if we have to give up time and effort on the home front. Ole Miss might get a couple of top tier guys from Mississippi every year but half of the dandy dozen and pretty much the rest of the state is ours for the taking and that's why.
Louisiana disagrees.

that the JUCO DT in California is actually from Memphis. It probably didn't take much convincing to get him close to home.

Name another 2-10 suck *** program with these type of commits...trial lawyer money that not only destroys our economy but helps ole miss football .....MSU produces and creates while ole miss promotes parasites that pilfer from the producers...if we could save our country from the left winged trial lawyers, we could destroy ole miss athletics which would be good for the country and MSU

What's your reading comprehension? I said Ole Miss would get some top tier talent from Mississippi every year and State would get half the dandy dozen and mostly everyone else noteworthy. If you look at the dandy dozen and where everyone's signed since Mullen arrived we've raked in half the dandy dozen and filled our roster with 3 star Mississippi kids. For the most part Ole Miss generally has gotten the other half of the dandy dozen list. But who else? My point is we are efficient in recruiting and don't blow our load on just the top 12 and some 4 star DBs from Miami every year. Dumbass.

...don't even want to know what covert venues & channels you are reqiured to navigate in order to reach such conclusions, but it was definitely beautiful.

No one could ever possibly want to come to Ole Miss without being paid and/or being a thug. Have you learned nothing on Sixpack? Orgeron proved that really good players will come to Ole Miss. Freeze is doing the exact same thing. Let's just hope he can coach better than O.
It was great watching you defend Quay Evans when Yancy started spreading ****.

Victimizing aw-shucks real people who just want to bash a skull open with a cowbell.

You're right. Your people produce and create great art and literature and we are parasites on it. Wait, I meant balls of cheese.

When have I said anything negative about Quay? I said when State signed him that if the roles were reversed that sixpack would have gone nuts talking about "character" issues, etc... Damn, you consistently say stupid ****.

But it was nice hearing you dispel the rumors though. But you and your ilk patrol the horrible Sixpack board defending the honor of anything red and blue. <div>

You come on here with the tired ole sarcastic **** about this board not believing UM will sign anyone good if not by being paid or they are a thug. But we sit here all winter hearing from the UM Sixpack board monitors how Quay Evans will "never play a down at MSU".<div>
</div><div>
</div><div>Strangely you and your other people that say "Sixpackspeak has went to ****" were no where to be heard then</div>

But by recruiting gems Alabama doesn't have to recruit because they only get 4 stars we can compete with them. I want Freeze to bring Ole Miss up to a respectable level, but I think he's got the wrong philosophy.
Okay, you will "compete" with them but forever be behind them in line in the West heirarchy, and end each season saying "Welp, yeah we lost some games, but it was only to really GOOD teams like Bama."

Mullen has sold this in-state mantra well to the fans, but it hasn't been an effective strategy since the Vaught era. This is modern football.

Just sling up some billboards declaring us champions. We figure recruits at some point will travel by automobile past an out-of-business Burger King with a fancy billboard next to it and be impressed as ****.
