...while Ole Miss (named after the wife of a plantation owner by slaves) continues to embarrass Mississippi, the SEC, and America by attempting to compete in major college sports.<div>
</div><div>Houston Nutt is a pretty good coach. Not the greatest, mind you, but good enough to get lowly Arkansas to two SEC championship games. Yet, he goes to Ole Miss, and he completely tanks. They say he's worse than Steve Sloan....funny you should mention him.</div><div>
</div><div>Until Steve Sloan went to Ole Miss, he was a winner everywhere he went. He was a National Championship QB at AAAAlabama, he won at Vanderbilt, and was a huge winner at Texas Tech (won 10 games in 1977). Then, he goes to Ole Miss and POOF!, he becomes a complete, total failure.</div><div>
</div><div>Eli Manning took 8 years in the NFL to become a top-flight quarterback. If he had gone to Virginia or Texas like he should've, he would be considered the best Manning QB of all time, better than even Peyton. Yet, it took 8 years to get the Ole Miss out of his system before he became an all-Pro-calibre QB.</div><div>
</div><div>Ole Miss is an embarrassment. They need to drop major college sports.</div>
