Loved the closing ceremony. The costumes were fantastic.

I agree.. absolutely cant stand shoot outs. At least move them back further.

But i like the keep playing until score plan myself.

Having a game go to shootout is my least favorite thing about soccer. Make it sudden death at least. Maybe remove players to open the field up.

Usain Bolt has said he'll retire after the World Championships next year. Somehow I think he might be back in 2020? Why not run a leg of the 4x100 relay and get that record-breaking 10th gold medal in track-and-field? Bolt would be about the same age then as a couple of guys in the relays this year (Tyson Gay, Asa Powell).

I hope he does return. He is "electrifying" when on the track.

Agree. Bolt seems to have the rare combination of talent, confident cockiness, and infectious charisma that wins everyone over. In my lifetime I can think of only Ali, and maybe soccer star Pele, who achieved the same universal appeal. It's hard to pull off the cockiness. USA track athlete Carl Lewis had talent and cockiness but in no way was he loved by the masses.

Yep. Bolt absolutely cruised through each race. He's not of this world; he could definitely win them again.

I realize he's hands down the greatest sprinter in history, he's already made history with the "triple-triple", and he'll be nearly 34 -- but how f--king incredible would it be to sweep them FOUR times in a row?

Answer: really f--king incredible
Get chills thinking about it for real. Can you imagine watching him live? Whoa buddy
