If you don't like the Olympics, then you just don't like sports, and I have no respect for you. Who can throw something the farthest, who can run the fastest, swim the fastest, etc. Sports at its most basic and pure.
BTW, I wish they had more medals for some sports like basketball. Add in the 3-point shooting contest for gold. Dunk contest. 3 on 3. It would be great.

I like the real Olympic sports like track/field, swimming, wrestling, boxing. bball is okay because USofA wins. Don't give a rat hair about soccer, karate, golf, gymnastics .

3 on 3 would be a good idea. But the rest are goofy. Closest to the pin? [laughing] C'mon, man. And the dunk contest and home run derby both suck at their respective all-star events…and would suck even more in the Olympics. But they should definitely add "Around the World" as a basketball shooting contest. I mean that's perfect for the Olympics what with teams from all around the world competing and all. [eyeroll]
