I think he's even been invited to play in the MS/Ala all-star game. I don't necessarily think he's just a package deal but I know folks are playing it that way. I've read where he said he learned a whole lot from Smoot at the Big Dog camp and he credits that for having a better year. I don't see him waivering, perhaps if B. Brown goes to Auburn then Trooper makes a package purchase.

By the way who is recruiting for Ole Miss, Gunter Brewer? They can't have more than a couple guys still drawing a paycheck right?

Brewer and some other guy I know of. And they are trying as hard as they can to get McAllaster able to recruit for them.

And what's the deal with brewer hanging around? Wonder if they are wanting the new sucker to take brewer as OC as part of the deal? Yea.. That would go over well for me if I was a coach with a good current setup or in demand. Would def make you wonder how the job would be with the past fast turnover and the administration already making demands for staff placement.

Makes me think that Fedora was a target to reconnect some Okie State offense. Now the Yancy-ites over on Scout are thinking that Dana Holgerson will be announced soon as their new coach.</p>

Oxford and Morgantown. I had several buddies who took an RV trip up for the WVU vs LSU game this year and they said when they walked off the RV they were all handed mason jars of moonshine and they don't really remember much after that.

He's been recruiting for them for years, I don't know why it would be any different now.

I bet given the right circumstances he'd punch a cabbie too.

I say drinks up, as long as you win.

I don't know how serious this rumor is, but Holgorsen would be on my list. The guy is a great offensive mind. He has the worst hair in college football though, which I think is a plus in his favor.

something to it. Deepthroat said he would be your coach two weeks ago. He didn't tell me his source or why he felt that way but he sure called it. I think he would be a good hire, I too subscribe to "just win baby" and to hell with a little collateral damage.

From what I've heard, our options aren't limited by any means to the hot names that have been rumored (Fedora, Freeze, Smart).

In fact, I've been led to believe it's likely to be someone outside of that circle, so Holgorsen wouldn't surprise me. If it is him, I would look for an announcement as early as tomorrow, since he plays his final regular season game tonight against USF.

I really don't know who to expect at this point. All I know is it's likely to be somewhat unexpected.

Of course now that I say that, it'll probably be Freeze, which would be just fine with me actually.

There are any number of reasons why he'd leave. Maybe he's a little uneasy about the way he got the job there, how he was forced on Bill Stewart, before the university ran off Stewart and made him the man.

Who knows?

I don't know the validity of the rumor, but I could come up with any number of reasons why. Maybe he's seen how lax we were with Andy Kennedy and knows we'd be a place to let his drinking slide.

He likes casinos, and maybe he's attracted to Tunica being only an hour or so away.

I'm not expecting Holgorsen, but it wouldn't shock me, not much would really.

that don't like the way he ascended to the job as Brusier mentioned. He was accused of some under handed tactics I think. I also think the media has worn his *** out pretty good too and oh yeah those 17ers are crazy up there.
