OM Coach Grabbing Calhoun on the sideline...

While watching the replay, I noticed on the Bear's first possession that an OM coach or someone on the sideline grabbed Calhoun with one arm and proceeded to put his other arm above his head like he wasn't doing anything. Then he proceeded to shove Calhoun when he was trying to get untaggled. Piece of **** needed to get kicked out.

I sit in the section right by where this happened and I was going bananas. The ref said something to him but he just heals his hands up like "I didn't do anything"... One of the most bush league moves by a "professional" I've ever seen on a sideline.

Taveze started going after him. The thing that killed me though was the other ole miss coaches were coming over and joking with him about it later.

I thought I saw something like that but I wasn't sure what was going on. I don't know if that altercation got him fired up or if he ate a second helping of Wheaties or what but that dude flat dominated the Bears last night.

Seems like something like this happened last year with Dillon Day..

I can't remember exactly what happened though.

I was going to post about this earlier. I assumed the guy was a grad asst or manager. The way he was acting, the guy has ties to ole miss deeper than just drawing a check as a coach. This guy has to be a rebel. Just the way they act.

I believe there was a running play that went out of bounds that he was blocking on, and Day fell down on their sidelines...every player and coach made it a point to throw a cheap shot at him while he was down and they even surrounded him for a brief second while it happened so nobody on the field would see it.

he definitely held him up too long. it could pass for a legit move if the clown had let go, but when a player is trying to get back and you are still holding him and he has to rip his arm out of your grasp, that **** is pure bush. im sure he got a pat on the back for it. thats how that "family" rolls.

It doesn't matter, because none of them have any business touching our players save for us running into them.

If I were a coach and that was one of my kids, I'd go ballistic. If he ended up hurting him when he had to rip his arm away, there wouldn't have been a penalty good enough to compensate for that. What would they do, kick some no-name water boy off the sideline? That's just understood, you don't grab the other team's players if you can avoid it.

Second year in a row (I vaguely remember Day)- to me, you turn that in and demand the refs do a better job of protecting against that. I don't know what the penalty is for something like that, but I would make it eject the head coach or something if it was blatant.

I don't know who he is, but I was sitting in section 19, 20 rows up and he had a head set on and was in the middle of huddles.

That may be the norm for some grad assistants, though so I'm not sure.

If freezus has any class and dignity he throw he's *** off the team. I swear the team as a whole from coaches to players act like thugs and were constantly throwing cheap shots and talking crap. I'm glad out guys went about it very business like and beat them where it counts. I hope the parents see how tsun acts and how the coaches act and realize Freezus isn't as a holy man as he claims. You want your kid to grow up as a good character successful man send them to state. Great quality. You want them to turn out to be thugs and in prison one day send them to freezus

When it happened I couldn't believe the ref didn't throw a flag, but then as I watched the rest of the game I realized those referees weren't going to do anything that made any sense.

I halfway agree with you, but MSU has had its fair share of bozos. The difference is for the most part we try to correct it, sometimes when we shouldn't. I mean for crying out loud, Nickoe pushed Bo down after he lost the game (granted, that flag made it ok in my book) and said some raspy shiz I'm sure (loved it). Same guy who pissed on UGA's hedges in the middle of the game (also loved it).

I hate Ole Miss and love MSU and I do think MSU better prepares people for the real world, but come back down to earth man. Saying that kind of stuff is nafoomish.

I mean I wanted Smoot as CB coach, and that dude would have FOR SURE gotten a few cheap shots in if he could have on an 18 year old kid from UM. Not to compare a ***** *** GA from an NAIA school to Smoot but damn...

Send your kids to MSU if you want them to get a fair shake, to get disciplined when they fail drug tests, skip class, or make bad grades (cough cough Dennis Thames, Quay, Nick James), and see a good example of how to behave post-high school. How they turn out is on momma and the individual.

This is the kind of stuff I love on message boards. How do people like you manage to finish each day without severely injuring yourself?

Same thing happened last year in Oxford

One of their coaches grabbed one of our players after he made a tackle into the sideline. Coach reaches and grabs our guy who was on top of his player and slings him out on the field
