The beginnings of the rise of the Ole Miss program are rooted in a 41-35 2012 loss at LSU, according to Rebels head coach Hugh Freeze.
"I am probably one of the only coaches in America who says that he enjoyed coaching in a loss," Freeze told Samantha Ponder of ESPN. "But that game was the first sign that our kids were starting to believe a little bit coming off of a year (2011) where we didn't win an SEC game. That game sort of propelled us a little bit to win the Egg Bowl (41-24 against Mississippi State in Oxford) the following week and to go to a bowl game in Year 1." link
If that loss was good for OM, yesterday's loss must be golden for the rebels. I wonder how much the Auburn loss is going to help them?
