Fremont is hanging tough. They are doing a bit of what Prep did to them last year, running when they can.

If I am an Iowa coach I am wondering if Fant can possess a football better than a basketball. They better hope so.

Too be honest I would like to see Fremont upset them since they haven't won State since 1961.

He can but he needs to get much bigger in the weight room to play in the B1G which you know that.

Fremont shooting 67% and South 33%, and it's a 4 point game.

Wonder how many years an Omaha school has won the State Class A Basketball tournament in a row lately?

Bellevue West won in 2014 over Westside just remember that.

2003 Lincoln High was the last team outside of the Metro to win it.

Did anyone else notice that the entire Fremont crowd was booing the officials as they left the floor at half? I don't know if they showed that on TV or not. I even saw some things being thrown in the directions of the officials. Then, at the end of the game, they win the Sportsmanship Award!!!! That award was just proven to be a joke when you are saying it's ok to treat the officials like you did, whether you feel it was justified or not.

I missed that but I'm guessing the award was chosen before then?

Anyway, congrats to the Chubbicks and the Omaha South community as well.
