Scott VP was talking and called State, USC, and one more team "underachievers" this season who finally played to their ability. Said Washington has its hands full Thursday

How do we underachieve when we were picked near the bottom of the SEC West and were not even expected to make the big dance? Just another stupid comment made by a person from ESPN.</p>

Anybody who knows anything about our program should realize that after losing Rhodes and defections from Gordon and Hansbrough to go along with Hopson leaving us at the alter, we were in a pretty big rebuilding mode early in the year. In fact, not sure of much of anyone who predicted preseason that we should be an NCAA tourney team this year.

he watch the SEC tournament and is asking the question how was this team so inconsistent all year... based on the SECT our year as a whole would be underachieved...

IF we play the next 6 like we played the last 6 we will be one of four left at the end...

State loses two all conference players, they're picked to finish anywhere from 3rd to 6th in each of the preseason mags, and yet they underachieved by finishing 3rd and winning the SEC tourney?

Don't get me wrong. I think that State could have easily done better, but I also think they could have done a lot worse. We knew the 4-guard lineup would be streaky as soon as Stansbury started it. I think that we were a Charles Rhodes away from being a very good team, but we didn't have him and I think State did about the best they could with what they had. I don't agree with the underachieving comment.

I doubt anyone is throwing a fit because you're still here...I think it's because you're still a dumbass. You don't know your *** from a hole in the ground when it comes to sports.

By your standards, Stans is a year ahead of schedule...so we shouldn't have to hear any of your **** regarding MSU basketball until at least 2011.

one instance of an article or bio that refers to him as Ricky, you can post it to your heart's content. But you won't. Although you never know what's on Covers.com today.

"Bury" lucked out and squeaked into the tournament to play as a 13-seed in our opponents back yard with no chance of anything other than a 1 and done.

Don't just parse one of the hundreds of articles out there about every first round game. Give us some good original observations directly from coach34 that we can take to the bank.
