State loses two all conference players, they're picked to finish anywhere from 3rd to 6th in each of the preseason mags, and yet they underachieved by finishing 3rd and winning the SEC tourney?
Don't get me wrong. I think that State could have easily done better, but I also think they could have done a lot worse. We knew the 4-guard lineup would be streaky as soon as Stansbury started it. I think that we were a Charles Rhodes away from being a very good team, but we didn't have him and I think State did about the best they could with what they had. I don't agree with the underachieving comment.
