On 10 kickoffs, Michigan only advanced the ball past the 30-yard line once. We're still not a great kickoff coverage team by any means, but that's a big improvement over the disaster waiting to happen on every kickoff early in the year.

we would be pretty good in this area (now, you are right the beginning of the year was just bad). We just don't have the power in that area.

What do you claim to know about coverage? Happens that I coached 25 years of special teams at a Division III school

The key to good kick off coverage is to tackle the ball carrier somewhere near the 20 yard line. It would be mighty fine if ya got a fumble. Even better if ya return it for a touchdown. Game. Set. Match youngster

You were a High School coach that coached the likes of Drew Brees?<div>How bad of a coach do you actually have to be to get stuck at the DIII Special Teams level for 25 years? You would think one would move up, eventually.</div><div>
</div><div>I hope to God you are just trying to get people riled up. If not, I'm sorry for your miserable existence of a life. (Wether it be a pathological liar or a bad coach stuck in what is sure to be coaches hell)</div>
