I'm shocked they didn't hire Fleck (ironically Cubit's successor at WMU)

Amazing that full vested schools (Minnesota and Illinois) went we these hires.

Both have interim ADs however.

Figures theses schools would have the money for better hires. God knows what's going to happen here

Look at their last few hired tho. Minnesota hired an NFL position coach and then a MAC coach. Illinois' last 2 were a retread and a MAC coach. They are in better shape then us financially, but they aren't Penn State, Michigan, Nebraska, Ohio State or even Michigan State.

Right which is why I don't know why any logical fan would think we would make a big splash hire if Flood goes. We will either hire a coordinator or a MAC coach or a retread.
