If Auburn gets the hammer dropped on them (whatever that becomes)- Alabama will reap crazy benefits from this. I mean, if they don't have to compete with Auburn for recruits, how much stronger will they become??

I could see a point where quality players look elsewhere because they will never see the field at T-Town-U

I guess I was just commenting that recruiting-wise it funnels just about any 5* Alabama recruit to Tuscaloosa, helping to keep them in their current dominant position.

all the 5* Alabama recruits would go there anyway. I don't see how it changes our strategy.

buddy of mine at an oak grove game a little over a year ago that alabama gets who they want. All of a sudden, auburn goes out and starts pulling a ridiculous class last year. Although, if all things are equal (payment) bama will probably get 9.5 out of ten players from alabama that they both want.
