One thing that I really like about our baseball team

is the amount of legit dual position guys that we are bringing in. I love that because of the scholarship and roster limits- if we can get a two player for one deal, I would take that any and everyday.

Here are the guys that I think can be true dual position guys for us:

Hunter Renfroe
Wes Rea- looking more at next year as far as pitching goes
Daryl Norris
CT Bradford

Then we have Trey Johnson.

And coming in next year, we have Brandon Woodruff coming in next year.

As an aside, Demarcus Henderson used to pitch in high school and can throw a knuckleball. Demarcus Niekro?

Is that we are short on baseball players and full of athletes. Could potentially be a problem or could be a goldmine.

I think y'all have a chance to compete this year because, relatively speaking, the West is not as good this year. Probably a trip to the SEC tournament and a Regional. Is that enough to keep him around?

I think that's what most of our fans want/expect this year.

Personally, I don't care as much about the SEC tournament as I do the regional. You can make a regional without going to the SEC Tournament.

Honestly, I don't think Cohen will be gone next year, but he will definately be on the hot seat if he achieves less than what you mentioned. A lot of it would depend on how bad the season is too- kind of like my leash for Stansbury shortened after the Hawaiian fights. Cohen's leash could certainly shorten at any time as well.

if it's in regards to the freshmen. I do agree that they are good athletes, but guys like Adam Frazier- who would go to watch games at Georgia just to try to learn something new, and guys like CT Bradford, and Wes Rea who chose baseball over football, are definately good baseball players.

What they lack now is experience. So, that to me is going to be a big problem.
