You idiots couldn't raise more than $8000 in fake money, now you're resorting to online petitions? I'd like to fire the fan base.

Not sure what this is going to do except draw more bad publicity. Our admin knows we aren't happy...nothing else we can do.
8k raised in less than 48 hours. If still active that amount would DEFINITELY be over 100k by now.

Highly doubt that. Would have to be one of the most succesful gofundme campaigns ever to reach that level.
I signed and while I love the attempt at making a change, overall I don't think this is a great idea as it is very unlikely we will ever get past 10,000 signatures and even that is a stretch.
Hey...This is a simple, formal way to let the University know how we feel. It is true they may know we are upset, but honestly, even if they do I do not think they give a crap. We have gone with the flow for quite some time now and I am sick of the excuses. If we only get a handful of signature, then you are right, we probably deserve Flood as we are all talk and no action. But it goes beyond Flood. It is the entire mindset of this University. Everyone always has their hands out and no one wants to take on their fair share of the overall responsibility...We only ever react to anything when our cheap cost cutting techniques backfire....I for one am tired of this crap
This needs to expand with social networking and a student presence. People under 25 have huge social networks. Thats how the number will go up and fast.
Yes there is a petition. It is called keeping Flood for 2016. A lot of the fanbase will leave.
I know it doesn't have the same psychological effect as the GoFundMe did, but at least those pu$$ies at RU can't shut this one down.
Sometimes in life, the more you want, the less it happens. This may be one of those.

This should do well since just a signature is required. If money was asked to be donated this thread would be deleted 10 times as that one was. We raised over 8 thousand in a short time that with so many on this site complaining to the Mods about it. A signature is all not a dollar so this cheap fan base should do well with this one. IMO

Why should you want to fire the fans that want what's best for RU? The current coach never deserved to be made head coach in the first place and had taken the program in the wrong direction. Perhaps it's you who should be fired.
It will be interesting to see if this petition can get as many signatures as the petition for Target to not open on Thanksgiving. They currently have 99,000+.
