#9 Illinois, #16 Utah, #22 Auburn, but, they all lost to ranked teams. We might replace Auburn, but, looks more likely we will have to beat UT to make our debut

South Carolina, who was unranked but ahead of us, also lost, and USC just kicked off.
I think we are either #25, or the first team out. It's not crazy to think we could pass USF or BYU just from voters who previously didn't rank either of us. Arizona State winning today helps, because some voters may want to rank them, but wouldn't feel right leaving us off if they're ranking the Sun Devils. (Not all voters care enough about their work to think of that though.)

We need to pass 4 teams. We'll pass South Carolina and Auburn for sure. We probably pass Utah, but it will be close. I think we're less than 50-50 to pass Illinois, but we should and we might.
We'll pass USC if they lose. We might pass BYU or USF - most voters will just look at our final score and assume we won a blowout.
On the other side, TCU could pass us, and Arizona State might but that would be incredibly stupid and any voter who makes that happen should be mocked.

I mean it’s a moot point really until after the Tennessee game. If we are ranked on Monday but lose to UT we won’t be ranked more than a week. If we are unranked on Monday but beat UT, we will definitely be ranked then.
