I have noticed a lot more of the picthers walking off the field assoon as the coach gets to the mound lately.Hardly any ever wait for the reliever to get to the mound before heading to the showers. I don't normally pay attention to if the pitcher stays or not, but pitchers use to always wait for their reliever. I know some coaches prefer different things, but I've always thought it was a much more classy move for the pitcher to wait until the reliever got to the mound, no matter how ****** you were pitching.
I know in the big picture it doesn't mean much either way, but Randall from Florida looked like a dick walking off and then straight down the tunnel. Maybe its a reflection of the head coach, and in Florida's case understandable.
