Instant classic in my book... video is now bookmarked!

Too many to list right here, but one of my favorites is: "and I hate dat Nedlan Stadium, looks like a Garbage man's convention."

Before someone blasts me for the spelling, I was just try to spell like it sounded to me he pronounced it.

So because Tenn is up 2 touchdowns in the 2nd quarter over a mid-tier ACC team that equates to we will be lucky to beat them? Not seeing the correlation.

Against a decent team with a good D-line, Tennessee would be in a world of ****!

NC State scores and cuts it to 8! We may have a chance after all, eh Bogey? Put that wool sweater back on and join us brother!

UT dominated the game from start to finish and Bray looked

very good throwing the football. They are loaded at WR and their running game will get better. If you are counting that as a sure win then you've turned into chewbacca with your wool.

TN looked better... but NCState gave up several huge plays. That defense is bad. While TN may be legit, this game doesn't appear to be a good barometer for them.

Chill Bogey, I'm 17ing with you....BUT, who said anything about a sure win? You said we will be lucky to beat them, which I think is a very moronic statement to make based on a 2 TD victory over a mid tier ACC school. You may end up being right, but you can't make an assumption like that based off of tonight's game.

Dominated might be a little strong. I mean on some drives they definitely did but it was against a pretty ****** defense. On the other hand, their defense looked mighty vulnerable beyond their defensive line playing decently well. Their defensive backs had some pretty big breakdowns leaving people wide open on simple routes.

I definitely wouldn't count the game as a sure win, but I just don't see the doom and gloom that you do from them. They have an above average passing game, maybe average running game, and average defense. No doubt it will be a toss up game, but we are the home team with a lot of seniors in our defensive backfield.

If you think we need luck to beat them, then I guess you are expecting another 6-6 year because we will need more than luck to have chance at anyone in the SEC other than Ole Miss and Kentucky. And in my experience, luck isn't something that our teams get, ever.

WOE is us. WOE, I say!

We shouldn't get excited about the game, or hell, even watch it. Bogey has spoken. Po' 'ol Mis'sippi State, we don't gets to beat anybody.

They took advantage of a NCState squad that couldn't get out of its own way, and couldn't run the ball worth ****. Bray's good, but color me unimpressed with UT as a whole. Please tell me you're not going to continue trying to convince us all how ****** we are every time one of our future opponents wins.

Furthermore, "As usual, I was right again," is redundant, and double the douchebaggery.

Given the choice right now, would you pick...

Tyler Russell over Tyler Bray?

And what about the rest of the team? How do our players "on paper" compare to UT's? I honestly don't know, but I suspect they have more highly rated players than we do, more All SEC, etc. They always do. Of course, the team with better talent doesn't always win, but cream usually rises to the top sooner or later.

Anyway, I haven't swallowed enough Kool-aid to put UT in the automatic win column yet, but I'm still sippin'.

I'd take Bray over Russell from what we know now. And Patterson I'd love to have, too. But I'd also take our secondary, DL, and RBs over theirs.

Also, their OL, which was terrible last year, looks to be much improved. I hope ours has made similar strides.

Seriously, Bray had all night to throw; ZERO pressure.

Also, NC State had FOUR turnovers.

I was making a point...

when I posted my 6-6 prediction a month ago I stated that Tenn could be the difference between 6-6 and 7-5. They looked really good against a decent NC State team, and Bray looked great. Now, I'm glad Neal didn't sign with us because he will not run between the tackles. I haven't seen us play yet, but I stand by my earlier statements. And if we played NC State on a neutral field and dominated them the way Tenn did, the wool would be out of control. However, Bray is fragile and most likely will not last an entire year against SEC defenses.

Even in Tennessee's bad years, they have talent. Maybe NCSt is slightly undersized compared to an SEC team but TN looked big on the lines and fast at the skill positions. We will have our work cut out for us on that one.

Their OL was good in pass protection last year, just like it was last night. The acchiles heal is the run protection, and I didn't see any tremendous improvement in that area outside a few long runs that were east/west by nature. Until they can run north and south and enforce their will, they will be all hype and no substance against good SEC secondaries. We will "bend don't break" them to death when we play. Make them beat us underneath and running, then in the redzone, lock them down.

They put up 191 yards rushing, but over half of that was on 2 long outside runs. 38 for 191 officially but 36 for 82 outside those two runs. Their run game and blocking still leaves an awful lot to be desired...

all i gathered from last night was that tenn has a good passing game. and we already knew that. i didn't see anything to show improvement in the running game and on defense.
