Anyone else happy with that result? Ohio State's win over Notre Dame was also a plus.
To the people who make it seem like their happiness depends on prime time being unsuccessful. If he's able to put a national championship contending, consensus top 5 team together in the next year or 2 will that ruin college football for you or what? Will you stop watching? There are some people that just don't like when someone is receiving what they feel is too much praise or attention. Similar to the guy that all the girls fawn over and you have to point out that you have a better job. Or the guy tha closed an 8 figure deal and you have to point out that he's fat or out of shape.
Being that the man has done nothing but be a coach, the people that don't like him but aren't affiliated with opposing teams must have personal issues. Aren't happy in their own life or see the successful person as an example of what they could've done with their own lives if they applied themselves a little more.

Maybe that's not you but that's how you come off lol...

Lol they were never going to beat Oregon. Even with hunter, no chance on the line of scrimmage.... needing overtime to beat CSU let us know this lol... Nebraska is terrible and tcu was remaking their team after losing players to the NFL...

This week could get ugly as well. I did not think before the season prime had depth to compete with the better pac 12 teams this season. Only 65 guys on Scholarships.
Prime job 1 was to make buffs football relevant again. He has done that. Time will tell if he can be a consistent winner at this level. His job has gotten easier with the move to the b12.

Next year with a good portal off-season he could be the favorite in the b12. I don't think we can judge his coaching until he is about 3 years into the job.

Wrong way to think about it. That you think it is about the people reacting to this and not about Sanders and how he behaves says a lot.

Coach Prime and his team picked the fight with his "we comin" stuff, challenging every non-believer in the post-TCU-game presser. All this talk of how Rhule and Nebraska disrespected them.. for praying for a healthy game at midfield before their game.. Rhule asked the Colorado players and QB Sanders if they wanted to pray with them.. and then post-game QB Sanders comes out with this "they disrespected us" nonsense and calls out Coach Rhule. Is that an example fo Coach Prime teaching his team about doing things "the right way".

I did want them to get spanked... if only to see how Coach Prime and teh team respond.. because they were very poor winners. People talk about sore losers... but sore winners are much much worse. And Coach Prime throwing his success in reporters' faces and his son talkin' disrespect after beating Nebraska... they were begging for people to dislike them... to "disrespect" them. To doubt them.. it seems that's how Coach Prime motivates his team in this us-against-the-world mindset.

They Goin'

There is plenty of game film on them now. They are probably banged up going against bigger stronger teams... this might be a long season for them. The PAC is no joke in their "final" year. And I hope Deion Sanders learns a lot from this. The "show" is fun.. but there is a lot more to winning than that. I hope he learns... his players and those that believe in him deserve that.

One more point/layer. We have a group of "fans" who have invested a lot in rubbing Deion's initial success in RU fans' faces and pointing and guffawing at Greg as doing things the wrong way and having a list of excuses, blah, blah, blah, blah. You know what? Yesterday Colorado faced a top ten team, something Rutgers has had to face 3-5 times each season while playing with OL/DL lines that would barely compete in the G5. These "fans" tend to celebrate the flavor of the week and use that flavor of the week to denigrate Rutgers and Schiano.

THAT says a lot. How does it feel when it is turned around? The reality is that there is more than one way to build a successful team that has been floundering for years.

Looking forward to Oregon, Washington, USC, and UCLA bringing their PAC 12 style of play to the B1G. Hope it rubs off on the B1G rather than vice-versa.

They are the Kardashians of college football.
they did get the clicks and probably continue to do so, but not as much.
Wins will bring clocks back , losses also lose clicks.
Oregon's HC now is better known in the college football world because hje won and put winning was his goal , not getting attention .
Season has a ways to go and even if the buble burst against Oregon ,Sanders has time to show Colorado's not as bad as it just looked .
If he doesn't he'll have a hard time keeping the clicks going his way

I really believe that
also could be some just got tired of the over the top praise and the can do no wrong attitude that seemed to come with it.
This being a Rutgers board I can see some Deion fans feeling dislike for Sanders is coming from Schiano supporters.
Schiano will get the blame because of all the disagreement about whether he should have been hired., whether he needs to be fired and the endless loist of who would have been a better hire
In Deion's case, I feel some here don';t like the way he presents himself and that makes some want him to crash and burn, Schiano doesn't even enter the conversation for them.
Others are just tired of hearing about other HCs and want each of them to crash and burn because so it would show Greg wasn't as bad as the other coach's supporters though he was compared to who they wanted.
Sanders is on the public's eye and there probably are many reasons why some onb this board want him to fail, the Schiano supporter probably only make a small dent t in the number of people here that want Sanders to fail.

Sanders personality turns people off or makes them like him, that's my opinion.
His personality turns me off, but aI feel it's helping Colorado more than if he acted humble
Deion knew he had to make Colorado a must see or he'd not get the support or talent it takes to win.
That I give him credit for and feel he'll bring success to the Buffs, but not this year and probably next year will be still a building one.
But his personality will bring in the talent and booster bucks that's needed for Colorado to be a winner

Being a freshman (perhaps) you might not understand this, but the press was doing a RutgersAl over Sanders from the moment he was hired. I find it irritating in both cases.

I actually think Washington is better than Oregon and that is nothing against Oregon. Washington is just terrifying.
Agreed, Colorado is just horrendous up front.

They have playmakers, so against bad teams they will look good. Anyone surprised by what Oregon did to them hasn't been watching College Football this year.

agree here as well. I have UDub at #2 in my poll. They have the best offense in the country and they can play defense

GA has struggled, I think ND is very good so that is a solid OSU win, Michigan hasn't really been tested, FSU is not a top ten and neither is Texas, Oregon is top 10, Utah is PSU is solid

Rutgers looked better at #2 Michigan than #19 Colorado looked at #10 Oregon or Iowa looked at #7 PSU.
That’s true .
Sanders had more big wins in his first 3 weeks than schiano ever had. Also true
So you think looking better in. 24 point loss is something to brag about ?

Buff fans, players, students et al knew Oregon would probably be a loss even with Hunter. Oregon is better than TCU and Col State. But Buffs won the first two games because of Hunter. If Hunter plays on Sat Oregon isn't free to stack the box and be jumping Sanders all night. Hunter could easily have had a TD and a INT stopping a TD.

How would RU do vs Michigan with Wimsatt and Melton out? Hunter was #1 recuit in nation in 2022. He is Buff's #1 defender and best WR by far ( #2 offensive player after Shedeur). He a first rounder in draft and maybe #1. RU has nobody as good as him at any position. Personally I dont like a player going both ways full time but that's a reason he went to play at Jackson (Sanders is cool with 2 ways since he did it).

That said, Deion jumped the shark with GameDay last week. He had 100 recruits and a dozen rappers + Rock. The game became a circus. A team of great overachievers started feeling like they were a lock. Col State came in frenzied. The team vs Oregon looked flat still. Of course they will lose to USC but I expect they will look somewhat better than Sat. A loss can do them good

Now you are just being intentionally provocative or plain stupid. Show your work.

There is nothing special about beating an overrated TCU that is a shell of the team that played in the CFP, or beating a crappy Nebraska who lost to a mediocre Minnesota, or a 1-2 Mountain West team.

What? Year 4 and we are still getting blown out by ranked teams. Year 1 for Prime and he knocked off a top ranked team. Let’s wait until Year 4 to see how coach Prime does.

hate the term 'over achiever' as you achieve what you're capable of. Now you may not be consistent or have too much sloth and laziness to be seen as not achieving what you can but 'over achiever' is bs. You get and do what you can regardless

can't argue with this and I for one do agree with what the poster said in that we DID look better. Still, your comment is spot on
