I wonder if they'll bring that thing to the Raritan when they come to Piscataway in the future. Can you imagine driving over the Lynch bridge and that thing is staring at you? Could cause accidents.

You think it would stay inflated and survive on game day?

I get the feeling that Oregon is going to be a fun team to prank (and beat) when we play them in Piscataway.

I envision the team & their fans leaving little ducks hidden everywhere for us to find for a year 🤣 ( the MIL of a friend of mine did that. Went to visit her son/DIL & hid 100 little plastic ducks all over their house. They have found 87 so far 🤣🤣)

The Scarlet Knight should stand at the helm of a boat with his sword drawn as he crosses the river with the other BIG mascots to sink the floaty.

They could pair it with parking it off Liberty State Park as a photo op earlier in the week. Not that Rutgers will need to sell tickets.. but, if so, maybe help em out if they want to pull that off... highlight that they are here to play us.

I think that's also a cruise ship thing.. heard someone complain about someone collecting them rather than just notice/find then and allow others to do the same.

You’re very serious.
Seriously. Good to have on the ignore list.
Taught by Schiano?
Have been in Greg's company several times, I find him to be very fun and funny. Maybe it depends on the company he is with? Have had a few good laughs with him.

It’s called chop. Relax. You can be that goofball if you want. It’s not for everyone we are trying to get our football program to be looked at seriously and with respect.

Did you guys see the Desaun Foster speech ?

It was so bad it was comical. The worst thing I've ever seen and I'm 77.

It was so bad it was almost fireable. :):)

If Lanning has anything to say about it, we may very well see the giant duck in the Raritan River next year when Oregon comes to town.

It was actually sad how a ( will assume) UCLA GRADUATE could at the minimum not express his excitement in a much different way. I understand being in front of media, multiple press people causes stomach knots and anxiety. Foster was totally flummoxed in the presser. I actually felt sorry for him but the man is the head coach at one of the more prestigious universities in the country. Did he take classes off campus… Maybe at North Carolina?

One way to get noticed and a humorous one at that

Not really… it was a poor example for parents of current and future athletes IMHO. Excuses are for losers as you know better than most after that post.

Now, that's a soundbyte- 45 seconds to be exact. I didn't see the rest of it, but basically you could just launch into the press questions right there.

Weiden+Kennedy was the agency responsible for the giant duck. They are Nike’s (and Oregon’s) advertising agency.

I can’t imagine Schiano ever pulling a stunt like this or talking about his team’s uniforms. The fans will have fun with this though. I half wish we were playing Oregon this year. It will be fun to get them at home and show them a Jersey style power football welcome to the Big Ten.

Line up the snipers. Watch the duck deflate on the Banks of the ole' Raritan.
Better yet, have Sir Henry be rowed across the Raritan to slay that Duck like St.George slayed the Dragon in English myth .
Taking the air out of Oregon fans looking on and giving them a feeling of foreboding

Could be a cool social video. Don’t dismiss that idea.

Hard to imagine, I'll predict a 0% chance of Oregon being able to get a permit. Probably had to apply for it 6 months ago to have a chance.
