Bones is a class act. He probably moved on.Interesting pairing of JT and Mickelson this AM. The past 2 champs and Bones (former Mickelson caddie) on the bag for JT. Would love to be following that group.

Agreed. I am sure Bones moved on. I doubt Mickelson has. Doesn't seem like there is much interaction between the groups anyway, but Bones didn't look too thrilled holding the PIN for Mickelson a few holes ago.Bones is a class act. He probably moved on.
Wonder if Phil tried to get some side action from JTAgreed. I am sure Bones moved on. I doubt Mickelson has. Doesn't seem like there is much interaction between the groups anyway, but Bones didn't look too thrilled holding the PIN for Mickelson a few holes ago.
Wonder if bones gets the $$$ Phil owes him.Agreed. I am sure Bones moved on. I doubt Mickelson has. Doesn't seem like there is much interaction between the groups anyway, but Bones didn't look too thrilled holding the PIN for Mickelson a few holes ago.
Based on the fist bump instead of the handshake on 18, no.Wonder if bones gets the $$$ Phil owes him.
Unreal, I’ve never seen such a thingA Block ace
Block is a bad name for a golfer. Like Walk for a pitcherAnd then he blocked his next drive. Koepka and Hovland battling. Scottie right there. Will be a fun finish.
On the replay, it looks like the ball is a foot below his feet.Holy **** twice in two days from nearly the exact same spot!!!!
Dufner won it 10 yrs ago.Block is a bad name for a golfer. Like Walk for a pitcher
Great lie though. Both of them skulled it. That's not a hard shot for them. And it wasn't nerves. It was the wrong club or stance. On the replay, it looks like the ball is a foot below his feet.
Didn’t know that there was no penalty for an imbedded ball in the bunker. I thought Hovland made 7 there.OMG. Hovland hits into the face of the bunker on 16 like Connors did yesterday. Crazy. I don’t think I have seen that this side of the pond.
If his name was Duffer Id agree with you.Dufner won it 10 yrs ago.
Wasn’t embedded in the bunker. In the face.Didn’t know that there was no penalty for an imbedded ball in the bunker. I thought Hovland made 7 there.
That was never the narrative. LIV was supposed to have ALL the top players. I’m happy for Brooks. He doesn’t push the LIV brand like the rest.A LiV player wins the PGA. So much for the LIV has no one narrative. Lol

good player thrive wherever they play.A LiV player wins the PGA. So much for the LIV has no one narrative. Lol
The most outspoken members of LIV are certainly washed up. Cam won a major right before he joined. Not sure how that’s washed up.Disagree. Narrative was players went to LIV cause they were washed up and couldn’t win on tour.
Big win for LIV.

But he's not representing a brand, the brand he plays for was overrated because some good players ( like him) are in it but the brand really is filled with once great players that are over the hill now along with some players that might be a name someday.
The PGA lost a little luster because some good players left, but became better because of the over the hill crowed getting big bucks to leave and have the LIV able to tout their name as tour members.
But the over the hill gang never lived up to the expectations the Saudi tour had for them and now the LIV is hurting because their names don't mean as much anymore.
not saying he's overrated nor are all the LIV players over the hill or never wases. How is he overrated? Just beat the best pros in the world???
not saying he's overrated nor are all the LIV players over the hill or never wases.
Just saying the LIV tour put itself in a corner by bringing more over the hill and possible has beens as the face of the tour , even though they paid a bunch For real good ones that can win anywhere.
Now it's a big deal when a good LIV players does something because PGA tour players are expected to win.
Remember PGA venues get full coverage while LIV tours have the channel that carries that tour end coverage ,before competition is over, and return to their regularly scheduled program or televise something else besides that tour's finish
Brooks winning today doesn't vindicate the LIV tour, it just shows Brooks is a good player who belongs to a tour that didn't turn out to be as good as it should have been with the money it used to bring in players
Brooks is living the life now. Making massive bank and still winning majors. Great decision heading to LIV.not saying he's overrated nor are all the LIV players over the hill or never wases.

And a guy like him will never be able to play on the liv tour, one of the problems with their tour with getting points.Best story of the tournament was Block, no doubt
In fairness, he would have trouble making the PGA Tour. He is a PGA professional. The fact PGA professionals get to play in the PGA makes it fun to watch these guys. And a guy like him will never be able to play on the liv tour, one of the problems with their tour with getting points.
Past decade as in 2010s? He tied Rory with 4 and beat Speith by 1.Brooks = Greatest major champion of the past decade
Also, best golfer in the world right now. Looking forward to the US Open!
Brooks has 5 in last 10 years is what I assume he meant.Past decade as in 2010s? He tied Rory with 4 and beat Speith by 1.
Actually, most in the past 16 years. Go back one more year to 2006 and he is tied with Tiger at 5 wins.Past decade as in 2010s? He tied Rory with 4 and beat Speith by 1.
Whoever does the best in majors is the #1 golfer in the world.Personal opinion. Still think Rahm and Scheffler are top 2 with Brooks at #3 for now.
