OT: 2023 NJ HS Football Season

Well, they scored 32+ a game in 12/14 games this year. The other two were 14-7 and 26-7 wins. So they will score on you.
West Essex HC is the epitome of no one does less with more. Can only win games if he has superior talent to the opponent. Offense is putrid
As explosive as Mainland is with their offense, Delsea will punch you in the balls many times over in theirs. Pretty great programs from Delsea Drive coming up to Rutgers today.
Even West Essex, who made the finals, runs the Wing T. So that makes 4 of the 6 teams from yesterday's finals that run a version of it.
Don’t forget West Morris and Union City made it to the Group Semifinals (North/South Finals) running Wing T as well.

It’s back up and of course we missed the two TDs by Bergen.
It is a joke while other states HS Finals are on the local cable sports channels all over the country. Only in NJ we have to stream and listen to this over syllabistic goof talk nonstop.
If this was Delbarton Assistant Coach Gerry Gallagher’s last game of his 50 year career, what a career it was. Great guy and coach.

There is no doubt that Bergen is the best program in NJ as they beat Delbarton in a decent Group A Championship Game. The argument is going to be who is the best Public School Program of 2023: Mainland HS or Toms River North HS???

Gallagher was at Morris Catholic when I was a student in the 1980s. Can’t believe he is still coaching. His nickname was The Box or Boxhead because his head was square. Of course no one said that to his face
