Yeah because places like nyc and nj don’t “build things” or sports venuesYou can build things in Texas. A 6-8k stadium in NJ will cost $50MM thanks to “prevailing wage” and no show jobs. To build that stadium in NJ would cost $75MM plus.
NJ regularly is at the top of educational rankings. Texas regularly has one of the highest drop out rates.NJ just had the biggest drop in reading and math in the country. I’m not sure Id be running down Texas. NJ public education is a disaster.
Kids can't read in Texas and half of them drop out of school but at least the football stadiums are nice.
Texas always had a high drop out rate and bad schools. Florida, too. That's because a lot of them - like their parents - aren't native English speakers.
When millions of foreigners are let in subversively the literacy stats take a dive.
When NY started giving away licenses to illegals, DMV workers I knew were shocked at how many could not read in ANY language
NY and CA are also crashed

Ha! I live about 500 yards from Cy Falls. The school district has 12 high schools now; it is their own conference for sports.I was in the first freshman class when Cypress Creek opened.

That said, along with Afghanistan, Texas is only place in the woirld I think of as ugly.
