joke adjacent, I'd say. A Nebby player had been arrested for robbing a smoke shop or something? Think I saw that somewhere. But the idea that there was a give-away of a vape product is weirdly funny on its own... but I wouldn't associate that with farm-bred Nebraska.
Coming soon to a stadium near you.

There was zero indication your post was in jest, zero. And yes, you've already derailed the thread. I don't give a rat's *** about what you think about this topic in this thread, as this thread is about a cool story about women's volleyball. If you want to talk about biological men playing in women's sports start a thread about it. And usually, the person lobbing insults about intelligence is the one most insecure about his or her intelligence - hence me not lobbing insults back at you.
You don’t give a rats *** you chump why doesn’t that surprise anyone here. You’re a guy with an over inflated ego who attempts to pretend he’s such a wonderful man. Dedicated to solving all the issues in society starting with science. Just to follow up here… who but only you felt the need to come aboard and tell me how I hijacked the thread . What I wrote was tongue in cheek. But you being so full of yourself decides to pass judgement. If you noticed this was referring to your buddy Keith Olberman . Remember he’s part of your ideological nonsensical beliefs not mine. You look for attention more than anyone on here. You can’t help but try and feed that ego. I ‘ll tell you what Mr. AH I’ll put my intelligence and validated IQ up anytime. And what I wrote about my granddaughter and those women in sports . Should tell you it was said in jest. Go play some Disc Golf …

Again, you don't read, you just spew. I'm interested in what you and others have to say on this topic. Just not in this thread, as I clearly said - even used italics - it's derailing it. And nice to see more insults. Insecure much?

I didn’t start or want to insult anyone . You could not resist thinking your precious post was violated. You as I said have a serious ego issue. If you still can’t see it was a reference to Oberman’s female biased BS. Now you our board hero remains strangely silent about his Riley Gains comments. Especially you being such a women’s sports proponent . It is also you who chooses to be an idiot who can’t see it for what it was.

You gonna start crying about it?
Nope. Just calling you and most of the people on this thread out in your own ********. RU fans, myself included are amongst the sort in FBS. Take a look at attendance and donation levels. RU is at the bottom of both in the P. We all have some sort of superiority complex over the flyover states, but their fans turn out in mass for everything. Thanks
You gonna start crying about it?
Wow, you have a combination or ignorance and arrogance that is dangerous in the real world.
Stop thing about this from a fan perspective and start thing about it from a business perspective.

Let me school you about what last night meant.
Cry about this, imagine a fan base so rabid that it can put 90,000 fans in the seats for any sport.
Cry about this, RU doesn't even have a facility that could hold 90,000 fans.
Cry about this, even if RU had a facility that sat 90,000, we could only fill it for football and then only if half the seats were sold to the away team.
Cry about this, Neb set a world recored last night, when was the last time RU did that?
Cry about this, Neb got world wide news coverage for free that no college could BUY as advertising.
Cry about this, Neb was able to sell 90,000 tickets for women's volleyball, what does RU sell for the same sport?
Cry about this, Neb made more in just ticket sales (never mind concessions) as RU has made in the last ten years and will make in the next ten years combined for the same sport.
Cry about this, Neb fully funded a "non-revenue" sport that Rutgers has to pay for.
Cry about this, Neb can put 90,000 fans in the seats for its 4/5 ranked sport, but RU can't even do that for its #1 sport.
Want me to continue? Because I have a bunch more lines to add.

Love seeing this and seeing women's sports, in general, continuing to grow. Way too many people get too fixated on women not being as big/strong/fast as men and disparaging women's sports because of that. I prefer to simply enjoy the intense competition, teamwork and execution of women operating at the top of their abilities.
Surprised you use the term “women”. Men can get pregnant and breast feed too!! Don’t you agree? Please drop this binary language of the past. We’re much more sophisticated now.

Hold on, Nebraska sets an unprecedented world record for womens sports and RU fans belittle it. This just shows how little this fan base knows about college sports. Even if RU had a stadium that sat 90,000 we wouldn’t be able to sell that out for football unless half the tickets were bought by the visiting team. But you guys are going to make negative comments about Nebraska? Hell, remember when we had wrestling in the stadium before a football game to set an attendance record? Well Neb just blew that away. This made international news. When was the last time WE did anything positive that was note worthy?
You mean besides developing an oral covid test, which is slightly more important than a volleyball game? Well, our men's basketball team beat the #1 team in the country two years ago. In Nebraska people just showed up. Interesting tidbit of information but not really earth-shattering.

Yep. And who beyond this board knows about that? Remember this is a sports board. Probably nobody. We beat Purdue as the #1 two years in a row. That is an amazing accomplishment and I hope it happens again this year. Still 8,000 fannies in seats compared to 90,000 means what? Neb made at least $900k just in ticket sales last night. What sport beyond football do we have that can do that?

Great accomplishment by the Nebraska fans. Even watched a little on TV. But I got to be honest, if someone said to me, "hey, want to go to the women's volleyball game for free I've got tickets?" There would be about 10 to 20 things I'd rather do. I did not find the sport exciting at all and would be one of the last women's sports I'd ever watch.

Image living in a state so boring that going to a volleyball game is even a thing.
In some ways I am jealous that RUTGERS football couldn’t get anywhere close to that number of people even if they were giving free weed at the gate. On the other hand Nebraska must be one helluva boring state to get this turnout for a volleyball game.
This Springsteen album cover says it all about what’s going on in Nebraska!

Wow, you are stupid. With the exception of Md, the rest of the BIG are boring flyover states. So is the majority of the SEC. The PAC wasn’t. Now guess who is thriving and who is failing
Keep thinking your way. If a consolation to one super conference happens, Neb just made its statement as to why it belongs.
