Wife and I bout to have our first child and I'm on house arrest. I was thinking about diving back into the gaming world. I used to be strictly a NCAA guy, but I read somewhere that the new Madden's gameplay is really good. Has anyone played both? Is the gameplay about the same?

I'm not a video game guy but unless the fans at Vaught Hemingway really thin out at halftime then it's not as realistic as people say it is.
If you are about to have your first child then you can hang up playing video games for a few years. That kid will consume every waking second and if you are playing games while your wife takes care of the kid then you will have hell to pay from her at some point.
Maybe at your house thats how it was.

Ive played both. NCAA is always better to me though...
The new system in Madden isnt all that great. Everything seems so easy even on the hardest difficulties. Ive heard from others as well that feel this way and also think that NCAA is better.
