Id take the kid, we can never get or have to many good QBs. If we got him, then you figure in Lee and OBrein, one of them have to be good enough to lead our offense.

Dude was a 5 star recruit that lost his job almost immediately to a freshman, and then left. Not sure I want the Huskers to bring this guy in. Maybe it is Saban, but this strikes me as no fight in the kid. The dreaded "prima donna" tag.

Or he doesn't want to sit on the bench and watch football, take his chances else where. As a 5 star only a few teams will be interested.

Yep; kids aren't stupid, they can read coaches attitudes as part of the landscape. He went where it is hard and time frame short- make it or they run you off; more like it is there. He chose to pick his time imo
