Does anybody have some good suggestions on places to stay in Orange Beach for 9 or 10 folks (3 being kids)? I haven't been to Orange Beach recently and have no clue where the best places to stay on the beach are.

Thanks in advance.

We have stayed at several condos in Orange Beach/Gulf Shores. Our favorite and the one we stayed at a few weeks ago is Silver Beach in Orange Beach. It's basically right across from the shopping center where the Winn Dixie (i think?), Wal Mart Market, Dollar General and Hazel's Restaurant are located.

We use Meyer Real Estate to get our condos. Their website is easy to navigate and find available condos.

is really nice and fairly new. We've stayed there several times. They are 3, 4, and 5 BR units with built in grills andhot tubs on an ocean frontbalcony of eachunit. Many of theunits are equipped with bunk beds, sleeper sofas, etc so depending on the number of kids in the group you might be able to find a 3 BR unit that works. It's not going to be a cheap place to stay b/c it is one of the best down there, but its a great place if you can make it work.

If you want beach access then just about ANY of the high rise condos will fit the bill. Lighthouse, Turquoise, any one of the 3,546 Phoenixes (or whatever they are up to now), etc.<div>Turquoise is the shiznit. It's brand new and is supposed to be awesome but I haven't stayed there.
<div>
</div><div>If you also want fun with pools then Caribe is really the only choice in my opinion. They have around 6 or 7 pools with watersides in most of them. They also have a long lazy river for those times where you might just want to relax. It's a lot of fun. The drawback is that it's not directly on the beach, though it does have beach access under the bridge. It has bay-side access with a huge marina on the back side if you have a boat.</div><div>
</div><div>Meyer and Kaiser are the two big realty places (they are located next door to each other on Hwy 59) but you can also find condos in all of the above if you look on VRBO.com and rent directly from the owners.</div> </div>

older condo, has a pretty cool split level pool, right around a bunch of other condos so the beach will be social

Any of the Phoenix's were ok as well. Decent pools and busy beaches.

Girlfriend's parents have a place there. Another fun and not too expensive condo is whitecaps. You really can't go wrong with that beachside strip of condo's between the funny looking water tank and live bait.

I prefer orange beach before destin because it's less crowded and still very nice and comfortable. Great place for your kids as well.

but you'll be a hit with the kids if you book Phoenix West. Lazy river and pretty cool slide. The condos are all 3 and 4 BRs. Easy to get in and out of. Parking garage is enclosed. Big *** inside pool. I've booked through VRBO and Kaiser. If you book through Kaiser you might get some free **** like parking. It's about a mile west of the blue water tank.

Mainly Condos in OB. Might find one to meet your occupancy. Sounds like you need a beach house which would be Gulf Shores west. They have some nice beach houses.

If you want to get out at night, Phoenix 1-4 is close to Live Bait, Phoenix 10 by Flora Bama.

I would recommend searching VRBO.com. They have some deals occasionally, if you can find the right availability.

Other recommendations are good as well.
