Been to buffalo wings and rings a few times and it was good, and has a fun environment. Hiro was good, but pricier and more reserved. Also, long wells has good bar food

The pizza place is Mellow Mushroom. Burger Fi always has great burgers and drinks, Buffalo Wings and Rings is just okay (wings aren't spectacular or terrible). Leadbelly also has great burgers. El Potrero is always a safe bet for margs and mexican food. Those are the places I've been and have had a good time at them.

On a Friday I always go to Lazlos and have their clam chowder. I've never had better. Or try Buzzard Billies for some fried alligator & armadillo eggs.

Thanks guys.....headed out with my 34 year old to see Alan Jackson!!!
Have fun! If you like bbq Longwells is really solid. It's hard to find decent bbq in this town. Which is probably a good thing because I love good bbq. If I lived in K.C. I would probably weigh at least 800 pounds!

We went to Burger Fi; it was decent. Think we will try Longwells next time. And allow more time....we were on time constraints. But the concert was great.....

Pfat Jack's on 10th & Cornhusker has great KC style burnt ends.

Indeed. One of the only dishes in town (that I have found) that can even approach authentic KC bbq. There is a place by the Earl May on 48th and highway 2 thay is pretty solid as well. It was a place that started down in Auburn Nebraska.

Not a Lincoln bbq place, but We'll Smoke You BBQ up in Gretna is pretty darn good. Especially on those days the wife drags you to the outlet mall. It makes me dread the trip a bit less.

You guys are really tempting me to run over there and grab a brisket sandwich. Might have to do that before the game starts.

Brisket is not my favorite. But if a joint can consistently get brisket right, then you can bet the rest of their stuff will be on point.

True that. Brisket is the master thesis when it comes to smoking meat. I know it took me some trial and error before eventually getting it right.

I believe Phat Jacks is opening near 84th and Holdrege in 2017 as well
These places seem to totally ignore the South part of town. I would kill for an Abe's down here. Us deplorables like good food too!

Oh boo hoo. Us poor guys on the rich side of town never get anything. Lol.
