the Raspet Flight lab and we were working on a gov't funded UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) project.

I believe this project has since been cancelled, but it wouldn't surprise me if the aerospace guys are working on something else.

there from 86 to 93 and worked on 3 of them during that time. In the early to mid 2000's, Aurora Flight Sciences and what became Stark Aerospace worked on drones there too.

ETA: There is also a student Design/Build/Fly team out there that builds them for national competitions.
