It is a fabulous show. I've taken the whole family before, and I'll likely taken them again.

It's a clean show - nothing obscene. But they do have loud music, drums, and a lot of weird stuff going on (sometimes in the dark). I could see it being maybe a little scary for young kids. It can also be really quiet at times so you want to make sure your kid can be quiet, sit still, & not be a distraction to others. Otherwise they'll probably put the spot light on you & call you out for it.
Blue Man Group would probably be ok for them.
Certainly no language to worry about since they don't talk. Maybe just some loud noises, but I can see a kid that age being entertained.
I get the season tickets to the Kessler Broadway shows at Thalia Mara every year, and some of the stuff parents bring their kids to amazes me. Last year for instance... I totally get kids of all ages at Peter Pan or Beauty and the Beast. Same for Shrek this year. But I saw 5 year olds at Spamalot and Young Frankenstein last year.

I've seen him 4 times in the last 20 yrs or so and he has gone down fast. The last time was @ Thalia Mara Hall and he had somebody on each arm escorting him out to a chair and he sat the whole performance. When he was done, the same two came and helped him up and off the stage. We went upstairs to a reception they were having for him and Ms. Thalia Mara after the concert and they did the same, walked him in for a few minutes, sat him down and let him sign a few autographs and then helped him out. That said, the old dude can still does 300 concerts a year and can still play the hell out of Lucille.
Show always starts a little late, so don't bother getting there early...
