got my new bose soundlink for the ol golf cart yesterday. I am very pleased. Would work great for the deer camp, golf cart, or tailgate.

Bluetooth/wireless, easily portable, nice battery life, no bigger than a cigar box, puts out a lot of sound. Typical qualityfrom bose.

a really good buy at 260-300, and after looking at both a better buy than the bose portable at 400. </p>

It has a car battery. It gets around 35-40 hours worth of use before needing to be recharged. This one that is shown can get LOUD.

I can't make it, do you make those to sell? Are they waterproof? Need something that is impervious to sand and saltwater.

yes, we have sold a few before. we've never really pushed them. We can make waterproof ones(basically just needs marine battery/speakers instead of regular) it's just more expensive because of parts.

We did on the ones where people wanted it as a cooler. The easiest way is to just section it off and then seal. We could probably do a smaller one that used smaller speakers/battery that could still be used as a cooler. We just haven't done that yet. We could also make it as complex as mounting a 23 inch tv to the top. I guess it's all on what someone wants to spend.

I bought the Sony equivalent at Sam's for about $160.00 a year ago. They still have them there and i think they have more buzzers and whistles. Comes with docking station; radio; and remote. The remote is awesome. It works from about 20 feet away as well. Can switch from radio to Ipod and also move songs around if you want to change. Also has preset stations so you can breeze thru them as well We've taken it to the beach numerous times and it will run my ipod for about 4 hours. I was going with the Bose, but went cheap at the last minute and am very pleased with the results. Sony makes a good product and the sound is up to snuff with the Bose. Check it out.
