i've got it narrowed down to 2 guns. sig sauer p226 .357 sig and the beretta 92 fs m9a1. 99% sure i'm going to get the beretta. just loved everything about it. shot and liked the springfield xdm compact as well. i lmade a similar thread about a month ago and got about 3 pages of responses but can't really remember if anyone had any of these. i'd just like an opinion on those 3 that i mentioned. i also got to play with a few 1911s. the springfield 1911 ranger officer is 17in awesome. .45 rounds are just too expensive or it would be my choice.

The most accurate pistol out of the box. Very reliable and backed by the absolute best customer service in the industry.

I have 2 sigs and sold my beretta, it just felt cheap compared to my Sigs and I never shot it due to loving the sigs.

There are alot of good options.
Wanna save about $100 + or so, get the Taurus version, which was made in a Beretta factory, and by Beretta engineers.

Shoot e'm up.

I could write you a book or just say go with the sig. Get some training. And then get some real training. Start with a private handgun combat course. Some are really good. Within three days you'll be comfortable with the basics.

If you are already proficient, my apologies. So many guys buy the best gun in the world and my wife who hasn't carried in 10 years could embarrass the crap out of them.

I have been issued four different handguns over about 15 years. The best handgun in the world ain't worth a crap without some decent training.

Most LEOs argue over the supremacy of Glock and Sig. I have carried both. I bought the wife a Sig.

Edited because I made a 23 on the English part of my ACT. Yeah I know what that makes me so piss off-

Hope it helps.

I just got the Springfield Xd(M) sub-compact 3.8 .40 cal and love it. I have my CCW and looking for a good holster now. I'm thinking either crossbreed or hidden hybrid.

Of those two, sig. I think a glock is a better value though. A glock 19 is very versatile.

Yeah that thing does look sick. I have a buddy who's wanting to buy that as well. I'm not sure if it's actually hit the market yet or not though. I paid $530 for the xdm sub-compact, but I don't think your gonna go wrong with any of those guns on your list.
