Did they get a Hollywood actor to be the head referee? That guy was just too smooth in his delivery of the opening toss introductions.

OMG, what a huge mistake by JJ on that first play - might be rescued by replay...

Good pressure there by Michigan. They need that, Milroe is capable of making bad decisions. Pressure like that can help.

I grew up as a UM fan (until I went to RU), so easy for me to root for them, in general, but Harbaugh is such a dbag that he makes it much harder to root for them. But I hate Bama/SEC even more.

Can’t make these types of mistakes if you’re UM. Got away with one but likely not two.

I'll never understand guys wearing dangling earrings under a football helmet

That muff is just another data point on how risky punt returns are. I haven't read much analytics on it, but I have to think in some cases, especially a close game near the end where I simply just wouldn't field any punts. Sacrifice some yards for zero chance of a huge gamechanging TO.

Michigan’s defense doing a nice job so far, if they can force Milroe into some bad decisions they can do okay…right now it’s looking they’re capable of doing that. We’ll see if it last over the course of the game.

Edit: Agree with this.

he should not have fielded it. you don't want your lower half moving in any direction until you've secured the ball.

go Michigan! threw up in my mouth

It was right in his hands

According to Tiki , returners are supposed to field a ball inside "the box" between their chest a forearms and not make hand catches. He said that you want guys without big pecs so that the ball doesn't bounce. Most returners trap balls and dont hand catch like this guy tried to do with outstretched arms
