I just made up two breakfast fatties to smoke in the morning. I got the Idea from Meat Church. Bacon weave, spread out hot breakfast sausage on top, scrambled eggs on top followed by cheese. Roll up and coat with Meat Church Gospel seasoning. Smoke until the bacon is good and done, then slice it up. CAN'T BEAT IT.

I make Christmas Eve chicken and sausage gumbo every year. I started it around 9am today. We had church at 6pm and didn’t start eating until 8:30pm. I added a little more thyme and some extra bell pepper this year. It was an incredible, super dark roux and a great gumbo.

Christmas Eve is seafood gumbo because it's easy and we can make it, go to candle light service, come home and eat.

Christmas Day: breafast casserole and homemade cinnamon buns about 10. No lunch then dinner is ham, deviled eggs, potato salad, couple casseroles. A mini "Easter" meal.

Generally I get drunk off cheap bourbon and pissed off and yell at everybody. Makes for a great holiday. Food doesn’t really matter that that point. # Real talk.
