Is it bad that I assumed the regulars in the meme thread already knew the Coldplay story and would understand the meme.

I like what the Mississippi mud Monsters did with it. Having a kiss cam next week. Saying brung your wife, bring your girlfriend, bring your HR director, heck brung all 3.

Stubhub had a good ad this morning. I'll have to go screenshot it

I think that was his problem. He had #1 and #2 and #3 were the same. It's undefeated for all time.

If they just stand there like normal and play it cool, I suspect that it is unlikely that this comes out?
Depends. I mean if he’s seeing them in the city at or nearby where he normally works, there’s a decent chance another employee would have been at the show, and recognized both him and the HR director pretty quickly.

In any case, it’s a boldly insane move in his statement to attempt a half-assed apology, and then somehow immediately follow that up by trying to gaslight the frontman for one of the biggest bands in the world from the past 25+ years and pretend he’s somehow a victim, then follow THAT up with a quote from one of said band’s most famous songs to close out his statement.

I guess him being the CEO of some no-name company gave him the hubris to try and have a díck measuring contest with a dude with 1000 times more wealth, exposure, and prestige than he’ll ever have. Good luck with that, my dude.

I believe that was a fake apology letter.

That was a seriously dick move by the husband. If you are going to cheat on your wife publicly like that, it can't be with the late 50's or early 60's HR lady. Just crazy disrespectful. You're CEO of a supposedly billion dollar company and you can't have the decency to have your affair with somebody below the age of 40? Hope she takes everything he has.
