My dad has ventured into the world of 3d, so I'm relaying the info from him.

He called Comcast this morning and asked to sign up for the 3d package. They told him to just come in and pick up a new box because the one he has can't receive a 3d signal.

Well, he just went to the office off I-55 and they told him Comcast doesn't have any 3d in the Jackson area, maybe in March they replied....Is that right?

If Comcast doesn't does anyone here have a 3d TV? What provider do you use?

They don't have any dedicated 3d channels, but there is a decent selection of 3d programming OnDemand. There's a sports section that will have some old football and basketball games. Don't think anybody wants to really watch old sports but it is interesting to see for a bit. There's a free movie section with a lot of IMAX type shows, and also Starz and HBO movies if he has those premiums. There is also a 3d version of most of the new releases for $6.99 a pop.

Currently in the Jackson area the only content that is avaliable with Comcast is the on demand portion. There is not a special box that allows it either....as long as you have a 3D tv and a high definition box you should be able to stream it. Just put your glasses on and enjoy.
