Hoping someone can point me in the right direction....

My wife's car is in pretty good shape except for the dashboard on the passenger side is cracked and some small pieces are chipping off. The cracked spot is probably about the size of a saucer, and I have no idea who repairs dashboards, or if they can even be repaired. Any suggestions in the Jackson Metro Area?

I would like to just have that spot fixed, but if replacing the whole dash is my only option I can live with that too.

Thanks in advance

We need pics of front and rear to evaluate. If you have time also take some of the car. Make, model, year?

Maybe an upholtsery shop that does cars? There should be some of those in the Jackson area. But they'll probably have to pull the dashboard out to re-cover it, so it might be cheaper and better to buy a new or used one.

It depends on the dash. If it's just a pad than it can be removed and replaced. If it's a solid dash, some upholstery shops offer vinyl and leather repair. Much cheaper than replacing the entire dash.

Call an upholstery shop in the area. if they don't do it, they should know someone who does.

If you are trying to restore it to a new look, try Just Dashes: http://www.justdashes.com/
You will have to take it out and send it to them. They are traditionally not cheap but you will be pleased with the product they return to you.
I have used them for the restoration of three different dashes on antique/older automobiles and have been exceptionally pleased with all three.
