Anyone bought live crawfish yet ?
I have not even had crawfish at my favorite Cajun hole in the wall but that’s going to change tomorrow.
Doing a big boil in April, hope they’re down to around $2.00 a lb by then.

I’m prepared to pay about $9 a lb tomorrow which will include 2 potatoes and a corn although I hope it’s less but it won’t be much less if so.
The $24 bucket of 6 beers is what’s robbery but it’s going to be 72 and sunny and the Dawgs will be playing baseball so all will be good!

My wife and i rode over to Brandon to take my nephew to lunch 3 weeks ago. Cost the 3 of us $250 to eat and have 3 beers each. They were $10/lb then. I was pretty pumped about that bill

At the Crab Boat in Madison, had 5lbs for $48 about a week ago. Probably the best crawfish I’ve had around here.

They’re $3.50 at a couple places on the coast. I’m friendly (coached a family member) with the owner of a place so he usually gives me 2-3 sacks a couple times a year if I give him a heads up. I’m likely going to our camp in Grand Isle next weekend so I’m curious to see the prices at a few places when I go that way. They’re usually a little ahead of us in prices.

Where? Paid $8.99 at Mudbugs DIP Mobile the other day
I'm currently working in Mobile and live off Dauphin Island Parkway (Grandview Pointe area) during the week, I pass by there daily, are they good? Always seems to have a good crowd when I pass it on Sunday heading down to the apartment.

Just bought some a Brewski's on my way to see the family. Paid $5.00 lb for cooked. They were good and good-sized but lots of straight-tails though. They're double that in Nashville.

They’re good. Believe it or not the best tasting crawfish I’ve had in the area is a hole in the wall Asian market near tillmans corner called Simply Seafood. Not sure what they do differently but been there twice and it just hits different. This was last season though haven’t been back this year yet. Cheaper than Mudbugs too.

Around ATL, there are places doing AYCE crawfish boils for $85/per person.

It's amazes me all the suckers that fall for the crawfish scam. You can go to Fogo for less.
