They'd have to contribute to society for anyone to notice.
I like that they were using electricity, internet, and their phones all day to tell everyone that they weren’t doing anything today. It’s definitely not an attention thing

The answer is 'no'. Doubt that anyone, anywhere, would notice if they stayed on 'strike' for the rest of the decade.

Thought Friday was a working day and Saturday starts the weekend.
Every Friday is a weekend when you work M-Th.
It does backfire against me in the fall mentally because I wake up Friday mornings thinking it’s Saturday morning and then I realize I need a whole nother sleep before the Huskers play.
I'm also M-Th and also forget which day of the week it is. I didn't know I was supposed to be striking today either.
7 days a week for me but I do take Sunday morning off. I’m happiest when I’m working. There’s a life lesson there.
Working at Starbucks or Lynn’s Bookstore don’t really count either.

I celebrated, especially after hearing that the Vikings finally fired that GM DEI hire of theirs. He was never qualified to be a GM in the first place and his lack of knowledge when it came time to evaluate and sign talent finally caught up to him.

Everyone is welcome to whatever political views they have. BUT I'm a strong believer that you don't mix business or your job with your politics. Anything or person that wants to serve the general population should stay neutral. Why alienate any part of the public?
That also applies to popular entertainers or movie stars. If you want to alienate a portion of your public that's your choice BUT it's generally not a smart thing to do in your profession unless you're only in it for the politics. For example although she obviously has other talents, I greatly admire Sydney Sweeny who keeps saying politics is not her business despite all the media attempts to trap her into expressing a political view. That's smart.
