Or do you deny that you do? Has anyone figured out who you are?

I've had people point me to posts throughout the years (usually to point out something funny or big news) and I usually get the follow-up "do you post on 6pack?" I usually deny it. I try to maintain some kind sense of being anonymous.

What about you guys? What do you think?

People I know that read sixpack have figured out who I am. It's not hard and I don't really care. I don't really tell anybody.

I have the same username on here, genespage, 24/7, ED, NAFOOM & Rant ...

Post here the most. Can't post on ED from work. Still 'banned' from OM Scout site for telling the truth about Nutt before his epic fall.

I don't post on here often, but there is one poster that a co-worker swears is me. He doesn't believe me when I say it is someone else.

Pretend I've never heard of the site. The looks are getting more and more incredulous as this site has become so well known.

A lot of my state friends in Memphis knew, and I know a lot of posters

In real life, and met most through here, same with NAFOOM. If people don't know my real name it's not hard to figure out, but so far I havent managed to piss anyone off enough to do something in real life. In Memphis my roommate went to state, and most of our group of friends we hung out with, so it came up. Not so much in Texas.

Only my brothers know who I am on here...only one if them is a poster (rare). But I know he has some friends on here but they don't know who I am but I know who they are.

I used to be anonymous

I cannot remember when all of my friends figured out who I was. I know a few other posters on this board. I did have a previous account I used on the yuku board that I believe no one knew about.

I prefer to be unanimous...

I tried to stay anonymous but about 2006 or 2007 - people I didn't know started knowing my name.

I have a coworker that reads the Pack also, we talk about things we read on there pretty often. We've never really asked each other straight up if the other has a handle or posts much. Mainly we just joke with each other that the other is "Goat" or the other 100 iterations he respawns to. Pretty funny...

I was washing my hands in the men's room at one of the gas stations in Louisville a few years ago after a game, and I was wearing my 1941 t-shirt. Somebody came in, saw my t-shirt and asked me if I was dawgstudent. I laughed and told him no. Funny part of that story is that at that exact time, DS and his wife were at the same gas station getting a bite to eat from the food counter.

Popeye's CEO was on Squawkbox this morning touting their new batter for their

tenders and chicken. Waffle with infused honey, the squawkers loved it. Thought you would want to know. Popeyes stock has gone from $2 in 2006 to $43.00, people like fried chicken, who knew.

Is this the gas station with the fly fisherman wallpaper in the bathroom? Solid gas station. I don't think I've ever passed through Louisville without stopping there. Its gravitational pull is irresistible.

I only know of 2 people who know who I am, and I prefer to keep it that way. Sometimes there are things I've wanted to post or respond to here or on Nafoom but haven't because it would give away too many details.

Same thing happened to me wearing a Nick Bell tshirt from the Pack in Lowes one day. He asked me who I was, told him my real name but not username, he was the same way, we agreed to remain anonymous I guess.

I saw a guy at an MSU baseball game...........

a few years ago back when we were struggling. it was a Sunday, we were playing bama, and not many people were there. He was standing on the board walk all by himself in a sleeveless T-shirt yelling "C'MON JOSEPH29!!!!" as loud as he could. The next day he posted about it. I thought to myself "thank God I didn't strike up a conversation with that moron."

DS and HD6 and Jamdawg96 know me. That's plenty.

People know I post on here but not sure anyone knows my identity. I don't really care if it stays a secret, but I don't go around telling them my username either. I try not to post anything on here that I wouldn't say in public.

I honestly don't know a lot of people in my personal life who are obsessed enough with MSU sports and have time to post on message boards (or at least they don't admit to it). And I don't know the identity of a single person on this board other than the ones who've put it out there on radio or blogs.

It's hard enough admitting to myself that I'm a poster on here...

Those who know who I am knew me before sixpack, and I still am friends with them today. Some of you are so 17ing nuts I hope you never find out.

I have several friends who post here and know who I am, and vice versa. I really don't post anything here I wouldn't say to someone in person. Have connected the dots on a few folks over the years. I have had people say they thought my username was because I was bragging about being an alcoholic, but it's really just because my name is Alshon Coltrain. If anybody figures out who I am and doesn't like what I post, I will be at the vet school the week of 1/7-1/12 between the hours of 1 am and 7 am. Bring it on.

I try not to post personal things or hints that let people know who I am or where I work on the board. I want to keep it that way. This is a great place to shoot the **** and ***** about sports, I don't want someone finding out who I am on here and holding something stupid or petty against me (like on genes page). Some people see message boards negatively. I don't try to be two faced, either, but at the same time, I don't want to be in a position where I have to filter every post because "so-and-so" might see it.

I like being anonymous, although there are probably 10 or 12 people on here who know who I am. One thing I would never do is walk up to a person at a bar, like for example The Dock, and strike up a conversation about the board.

I was sitting at a tent before a game last year and the conversation turned to sixpack and a middle aged lady looks right at me and says ' you are Dawgbite on SPS aren't you"? don't know what I said to tip her off but when I asked if she posted, she said no but reads every day.
