Announcers say you don’t want to embarrass your opponent just take a knee which they did. You are already beating them by 50 isnt that embarrassing enough? To me you go for history. Reminds me of Cuse being P.O.’d at us when Brian Leonard ran a TD in late to I believe break a record.

The way Sean Payton disrespected his predecessor I’d kick it all day. I assume he’ll be taking all the blame for their pathetic start.
I was born in August of the year that Giant game was played.
My Dad told my Mom he just wanted to go down the block and watch the game at the bar with his friends. What he didn't tell her was he and his friends decided to have shots after every score.
Needless to say, she was not pleased when he came home. LOL

Dolphins took their starters out at the end of the third quarter. For awhile Denver still had in their starters. Not the Dolphins fault Denver could not stop them. Because the could have gone for the record to me you kick it.
As a Rutgers fan I obviously hated the outcome. Hated the fact that we could not do anything against them. They had every right to score and they did. Now ask me if I was OK with Brian Leonard scoring the touchdown and having the Cuse‘s panties all bunch up. The answer is a Big He’ll Yeah.

Not sure what part of my post you didn’t understand. Grown men getting paid millions to play a game. They should be embarrassed giving up 70. An extra 3 points doesn’t raise the level of embarrassment.
As far as the Michigan 78-0 game I felt the same way. Don’t want to give up 78, tackle better. Stop them. Sometimes getting embarrassed makes people work harder.

To add to the story…former Bronco ball boy, Colorado native. Didn’t get an interview for the broncos HC vacancy. He could have stuck it to them and chose not to.
Let me thrown in a hypothetical. Judge is chasing the HR single season record the last week of the season. Yankees are having blowout games ( say 12-0, 14-1 etc etc……). If you are Boone do you take out all your starters including Judge? Do you leave Judge in to chase history? Those who say you should not embarrass the other team remember McDaniel took all his starters out in the beginning of the fourth quarter and they still were scoring at will With some of the Broncos starters in the game. That’s not the Dolphins fault. Payton should be embarrassed by his team play, it should not take the Dolphins trying for history for that to “kick” in.
