I forgot about him. That's how long it's been since I heard him.
He has been interviewing old celebrities trying to appeal to the 50+ demographic. And like mentioned, he is really not gifted at interviewing so the ratings have continued to decline.

Howard Stern was broken by Covid and more specifically the politics of Covid. He has always been a different guy, but he is a lunatic now.
I havent listened to Stern in years and have no idea what his views are on anything these days.
Given that, I read your comment and was left still not knowing his views on covid or anything else.

Thats how meaningless 'lunatic' is now...it is thrown about by both sides to even describe people they simply disagree with.
Is he a lunatic because he is antivax and conspiratorial?
Is he a lunatic because he supported distancing and 'the jab'?

No idea.

1) I doubt anyone serious would say that Trump cancelled Stern.
I mean "serious" people say crazy stuff all the time about trump.
2) It is bad for the US if any president weaponizes the judicial system against everyone who tells the truth about him.
"tells the truth" hahahahahah
I mean wasn't the justice system used against trump? STFU
3) It is bad for the US if any president also consistently attacks the parts of the judicial system that uphold the law instead of doing what he wants.
You talking about obama or biden?
4) You could have easily not gotten any political responses by not inserting Trump into something that he was not in. You know, like instead of asking the question "how long before...", just sit back and see if in fact it turns that way without your assertion that it will...not everyone lives every freaking second of their life with a political lens applied to every situation...
You could have easily ignored it.
More than one thing can be true...

I love it when people wallow in their admitted ignorance. Why are you making any comments if you know nothing about it and admit it?
At least look it up before you comment. Even his current wife says he went overboard in his fear of getting covid.

My comments are 'I don't know what his view is and can't tell from the post referencing his view'.

Why is it bad to say you know nothing about something?

It's not bad if you're saying it in a way that indicates you want to better understand something.

As usual, you're saying it in some passive aggressive attempt to belittle the person you're responding to.

Why bother? Especially here, because most people already know you know nothing.

You are reading into something that doesn't exist.
I found it funny that even after the comment about how Stern had gone crazy, I didn't know which extreme end of the spectrum he had gone with it.

It's OK if you don't find that humorous, but there is nothing more to this.

SiriusXM not renewing Stern's contract. Stern has been working hard to clean up his brand image of filth, but it looks like it is a little too late. Weinstein went down and it looks like many more will follow.
Wtf does Howard Stern’s contract ending have to do with Harvey Weinstein? If you are even comparing the two, you are an idiot.

Howard hasn’t done his “porn” radio in almost 20 years. Stop being a puss

You are being a dick for no reason.
Also. It's a given on any message board that most commentary is based on readily available knowledge. You can't expect every comment to fully give the entire background of the comment and have footnotes following the comment in case someone is unaware. To point that out and blame the poster is weak. It is readily available that Howard Stern admitted that he and his wife got into fights over his covid fear.

Perhaps I, along with many others, do not think it is ethical or moral to freely broadcast garbage to minors, but hey, maybe you are into that sort of thing

When I was a minor, I was all for free access to garbage (meaning pornography).

Now that I'm older, I do see the issue more clearly.

Good lord. I am not blaming the poster.
I found it funny that saying someone was extreme(lunatic) wasnt enough to show what their view was on a highly divisive issue, since there were crazies on both ends of the spectrum.
There was no blame assigned or intended.
I am sure it would have been easy for me to google what Stern's view was, but that wasnt the point of my post.

There is a lot going on in your mind on this- you are looking 5 moves ahead when I am not even playing the game you intend to win.

Stern strongly advocates for COVID-19 vaccination and believes it should be mandatory.

He has been critical of individuals who refuse to get vaccinated, calling them "idiots".

Stern has stated that those who choose not to get vaccinated should be denied hospital care if they contract COVID-19.

He also played viral videos of people refusing to wear masks in grocery stores during the pandemic.

Stern was great for a long time. He was anti-establishment and edgy. He challenged a lot of stuff with common sense. And he was funny, even if he pushed the envelope too far at times.

We've seen him evolve once hollywood let him into the club, and when he married his current wife, where he has become more of a hardcore leftist. He and Kimmel made this move almost simultaneously and it's not a coincidence since they are pals. The guy who used to host the Man Show and the guy who used to host a radio show that was all about sticking it to the man.......now they both kiss the *** of the man. As a coincidence, neither of them are funny anymore.

Stern is a really good interviewer and I've enjoyed many of them. But TDS has ruined many a rational liberal - and he's one example.

How many minors pay to subscribe to Sirius XM though?

Stern is a genuinely bad guy. I'll admit I tried to listen to him back the day when he was considered cool and edgy. His business was humiliation. Every week he'd do this to someone else. He ruined lives.

Look into the Dana Plato suicide and also Stern's comments on Columbine. This is the tip of the iceberg.

My politics are probably plenty different than golfer’s, but I didn’t read his comment the way yall did. I thought it was just an amusing point that lunatic can mean almost anything these days. Sorry for interrupting the feud.

As I've already said, I'm game any time you want. We will need to find a neutral arbiter who can verify that no one cheated and we both have to promise to accept the results.
I’ve made that simple for you.

I’ll come to wherever you are and take a proctored test.

you send your results to me and you
I’ll send mine to you and me
