Now I know why I have always been a little uneasy about high fives. The other reason is that I have to exert more energy to do so when a simple low five is more than sufficient.

I remember hearing a guy described as "***** as a football bat" (not there is anything wrong with that) in the early 80's, but never 17'd up as a football bat
