Hill is a racist pig. MSESPN has become simply another Liberal network to spout agendas. Just do sports. You know, like you used to. We all know the double standard they live by. We all know if someone had made such cmoments about Obama, they would have been vilified and then fired. But whatever.

But Trump has caused much of his own controversies. He's a disaster. And no President has a right to demand a private company fire someone for making negative comments about them. But nothing this guy does surprises me anymore.

She should keep her job. Just remember. The more these clowns spout hate, the better chance the guy they hate comes back for more.

The President didn't demand she lose her job.

Leaving aside whether the President would have a right to make such a demand (he retains his 1st Amendment right, but for all I know, there is some kind of specific conflict of interest law that would forbid it), it would be unquestionably foolish and politically stupid to sink into the mud like that. But did Trump actually do this?

No..its dangerous for the nation. Because it further drives a wedge between citizens.
It drives Trump supporters and those who are not further and further apart.

It adds fuel to the fire of idiots, the irrational ones who think they're serving the public if they target congressmen, or go to protests ready for battle, who riot in order to stop speech.
The kicker is if the left keeps acting this way, Trump will be re-elected in a landslide in 20, and the Reps will keep the house and senate in 18.
Nothing is ever dangerous with a dialog. It's no more dangerous than the banter on the political forum. It's no more dangerous than what Tucker Carlson says. It's stoopid, sure.

What drives the country apart is partisanship and self interest by our elected politicians since they are the country's leaders. I could care less what Hill or Carlson have to say. The snowflake that can't handle free speech will forever be marginalized. Should they act out their social media frustrations, are they not mentally ill people Bill? We are a nation that no longer treats them with a disease btw. We leave that up to law enforcement which in itself is utterly stoopid.

I do not believe most Americans let this stuff consume them. So I'm saying
please don't buy into the fear whipped up by the media or on social media. Be as rational as I know you are. We will always have much more in common than the differences these people target.

I'll type this again slowly, this was on the basketball board, I said it didn't belong on the basketball board. Naturally this triggered you and the other trash who post here who cant see past their politics. They came at me babbling nonsense, I responded. Do you get it, I responded to people who came at me. So now im sorry for saying political posts don't belong on the basketball board, and I'm sorry for defending myself since that upsets you too.

How many times are you going to repeat yourself?

I literally addressed your complete repost in the quoted thread. I even said you're right that it doesn't belong on the bball board. Do you have memory issues or can you just not read?

I love how you fail to address anything else. Like your history of suck. Or the fact that not a single person on this board would be upset if you never made another post. Actually we would all be thrilled. Takes a special kind of person to continue to visit somewhere where they are literally despised.

And quit defending sexual assault enablers.

So what exactly is your issue? History of suck? Can you break that down for me? If you have something specific I'll address whatever it is, you guys can never seem to actually say what you're mad about.

I'm not buying into any media frenzy, I'm simply making a point.
The first amendment simply means the Govt can't punish her for her speech. It doesn't mean ESPN can't or that she can't be ridiculed.
I'm not afraid of what she said, to me it's simply another view into how the left views Trump supporters. Unless you've been asleep the past 3 years then you've noticed that there is a real racial tension building.
Highly visible, emotionally unstable members of left accusing Trump of being a white supremacist, as well as his cabinet, does not help the situation.

I've actually said it in the previous posts that you failed to retain.
So you're sticking with a history of suck and a bunch of sheep who despise me wouldnt be upset if I didnt post here? Welp, while those things seem to be very upsetting to you, there's not much for me to constructively address there.

I will say, if someone comes at me I will go right back at them on the same level. If you have a problem with that I don't know what to tell you, I guess you'll just have to deal with it.

It doesn't impact my daily life or yours anymore than a crazy Nazi running over a woman in Charlottesville. We can be very concerned about the lack of a dialog in these circumstances, sure. As we should be over any mentally ill person with a gun or willing to harm someone over anything.

You're misunderstanding me, the double standard is what's dangerous. I don't care what she says on twitter, or on ESPN for that matter. What I do worry about is how one side of the spectrum is handled differently.
They will hate it when the new rules are forced back onto them.

You don't think it affects your life if the elected Govt is being publicly undermined and slandered by the media and entertainment industry?
It's telling that you think it's no big deal that a media member called the President and his cabinet white supremacists.

then why not post in paddock?

I post on the paddock most of the time.

They ruin threads on that board too. Life is tough on the streets of paddock when you've lived your whole e-life under the umbrella of Rafters strict moderating policy. You can't bribe mods in Rafters, you try to and theyll slap you with a 7 day quicker than you can say 'Pitino likes man butts'.

Here we have another doofus bringing up Obama because I said political posts don't belong on the basketball board. I'm not sure what Obama, race, Hillary, or Autism has to do with anything but they sure love bringing them up. It's amazing how ate up they are.
You're the Hillary Clinton of this forum. All you do is cry cry cry.

Who cares? I'm more concerned with what the President tweets. She represents her family and a sports network. Trump represents America.

Then why is Trump impacting you lefties so much before given a chance if this type of thing is no big deal? Honest question.

Obama had the following to deal with:
publicly undermined...Tea Party movement and rallies
slandered by media...Fox News
entertainment industry...Trump, Nugent, Baio, Schilling, Dash, and country music stars...dont forget 2012 tweet from our President calling Obama a racist. oh, and the birther movement.
we made it thru that, i think we will be ok with the next 3 1/2 years...hopefully.

It's amazing that Keyser Soze is a total opposite of his namesake.

One is a badass despite his handicap, hilarious, and wildly entertaining. Great storyteller, too.

The other is a message board troll that's know for his propensity to be a victim and recurring hissy fits/crying.

Must be a real downer knowing that people associate your name with whining/crying. Actually agree with a few of his points, but man what an offputting personality that guy has.

I don't think Trump is a white supremacist. Hill is entitled to her opinion. People are free to agree or disagree. I really don't see why people would be so upset about what she said. Not a big deal to me at all.

Obama sucked. He is not a Muslim. He is soft.

Trump sucks. He is not a white supremacist. He is an idiot.

Guess that discussion is over with. That settles it.

Back to how Jemele looks like a llama, and is a larger idiot than both Obama and Trump combined.

I think people legitimately think they are going to change someone's mind. The type of person to argue about this for a significant amount of time are extremists to one side or the other. Vocal minority, but it really does make you feel like the world is going to s#-+.

Having a civil discussion on a message board about the double standard by ESPN makes you think the world is going to ****?

It's the message board equivalent of protesters yelling at each other from ten feet away. Each thinking they're efforts are changing minds and making the world a better place.

dont care about Hill or schilling tweeting...she shouldn't be fired nor should he have been fired. as to what i think about Schilling being fired, i believe he crossed a line multiple times that he was told not to cross. my feeling is Schilling offended many, while Hill singled out the President. Is ESPN brass allowing this due to their own political leanings? sure...doesn't faze me at all....haven't watched anything besides a ballgame for quite some time(did watch SC6 tonight due to uproar). Now, back to my post you quoted. why no response to that? instead, you pivoted.

It's a discussion board, the purpose of it is to have discussions.
It's basically a place to vent, and pass time.

Thank you for clearing that up.

If more people looked at it that way, the political threads wouldn't devolve like they do at the slightest mention one way or the other. People legitimately get upset and lose their minds on here when someone from the other side says something they deem unacceptable. For whatever reason, they can't just ignore something and let it pass which is why every thread mentioning anything political turns into a chyt slinging contest. Wish more saw it as an outlet for entertainment, not a life and death debate.
