OT: Far Hills Meet

I’m interested in tailgating for the Far Hills Race Meet on October 21. Anyone here done it?

Two questions:
1) Can you see the race clearly from your tailgate if you are parked at the rail?

2) I assume if the answer to number 1 is “yes” then you don’t have to go into the actual race track if you are parked at the rail?

Any other impressions you’ve got of the event would be greatly appreciated

Worst tailgating experience of my life. Why?

- the mud/wet grass there is WORSE than the Blue Lot so if it rains you are SCREWED anywhere in the infield

- 95% of the people who go are AMATEUR tailgaters

- the trains headed back, to wherever you go BUT worse to Hoboken/JC (I assume), are filled with passed out, puking drunk girls with bad breath
